Excellent typical Chilean place

Waiters are very kind, and Chilean food is served in a kind atmosphere. Fair prices and excellent food. Caldo de congrio, mejillas de merluza al pil pil, great food to taste. Casillero Merlot, soft and nice with any food. Every time I stay in Chile I go

The location, decor and ambiente was the most wonderful. It satisfied on all levels.. visually it was like being in a time capsule of memories, the live music carried up into the second level, and the energy of happy people being pampered by efficient and uber attractive servers resonated.. I wish I could return over and over again. The BEST!!!!... More

Old style restaurant, with a nice decoration, the bar is impressive. Typical food, is a favorite for locals. A place to go with friends and spend the afternoon. Service is friendly. The time to bring the food was quite long (the place was very busy), if you are not in a hurry go there and take a look to the... More

Loved the interior of this restaurant and of course the food! Three different areas to dine, we sat upstairs in the bistro. The fruit wine was delicious (white wine with peaches). Menu in Spanish but with the help of google translate we ordered!! Food was delicious, hearty tasty food and service friendly.

Go there for the food, service and lively atmosphere...you won't be disappointed! Try the typical Chilean dishes like Ajiaco, Plateada and Mechada - and, of course, don't forget the pisco sour to start :-) I highly recommend this place to out-of-towners! #TheChileExperience

If I were to recommend only one restaurant for a first time visitor, it would be the Bar Liguria. You cannot be disappointed.

This is my fourth trip to Santiago Chile from the US and this is one of the best meals I've had. The restaurant is beautiful, our server Manuel Gomez was charming, spoke excellent English, explained the dishes to us and made recommendations for an authentic Chilean meal. I highly recommend!

We have eaten there four times, late afternoon / early evening, but no more. The quality and service are just too variable. On a good day, both are very good. On others, neither is worth the price. We have seen the same salad shrink by 50% from one visit to another, congrio from hot to half the size and lukewarm,... More
