Pricey but goooood!

We sat outdoors on our first visit, inside for our second in chilly June. Their Garron de Cordero---a huge lamb shank---is absolutely delicious. (I was less fond of the risotto of quinoa that came with it.) The service was great: in the Summer, our waitress brought soup bowls with water for our two... read more

This amazing reastaurant is set in a very quiet area of Santiago, where you can feel a home ambience in the moment you get inside. The waiters are very kind and willing to help with your quiestions. I totally recommend the lentil-hamburger for vegetarians as well as Restos de duende for meat lovers. Important: you must go with cash and... More

Loved it so much we had dinner 2 nights out of our 4 night stay in Santiago. The "Deditos de duendes" chilean shrimp wrapped in wagyu beef with a sweet sauce was delicious. So was the "carne a la sal". There was a great wine selection and incredibly delicious drinks, such as, Basil Pisco Sour and the Champagne with Hibiscus.... More

I eat a dish called "Restos del doende".... just give a try. Great flavour! On the beggining we had a bread with soya mayo which was also amazing. The 2 bottles of wines we ordered were available and the environment and service were outstanding. I would skip the starter and dessert, as it was not that amazing and a little... More

Great food and service. Beautiful architecture makes you feel in the south of Chile, relation between price and quality is quite good. I ordered an exquisite and big piece of lamb with potatoes, which was more than enough for this starving chilean.

First, there was no one else at the restaurant, we were the only clients. Strange for a restaurant that is ranked n3. Service was slow and informal for the prices of the menu. We ordered wine for the main course, tge wine was not available. Then we ordered another bottle of wine, also not available. Third chance to order another... More

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends at this delightful restaurant. You enter the restaurant via a rustic wooden walkway, which sets the scene for the fabulous wooden interior. The menus are in Spanish and the wait staff has little English, but we enjoyed the experience of muddling our way through the menu, with lots of laughs and assistance from... More

Element was quite a find. It's one of those hidden gems you come across every so often, and kick yourself for not having visited before. There's a quirky, Tolkien-esque theme going on, from the timber construction to the names of some of the dishes. Don't let that put you off though, as there's nothing tacky about it and it certainly... More

They have a really creative menu and it's one of my favorite places to have lunch in Santiago. Definitely try the "Hobbit Fingers" (shrimps wraped on delicious wagyu) and the salmon on a exquisite pistachio crust.

If you are looking for a fine dinning with excellent service its the place. The food with roots in the southern chilean cusine brought up to compete with the best to be offered anywhere in the world. This is absolutly the best Chilean kitchen can offer. The service is top and very attentive not experienced anywhere else in Chile. While... More
