Really wonderful evening at Motemei. Patricio’s cuisine brought back so many memories! I am so glad that someone in Chile want to promote Chilean roots. Really enjoyed the food and all the descriptions of each dish. Not only we had great food but we also learned about the history of each dish. Can’t wait to get back to the US... More

Overpriced!!! Food was ok, not desirable. awkward experience. I do not recommend it. Try many other restaurants in the area which are great.

All of the tripadvisor reviews prepared us well for this experience. I emailed Patricio and he responded back to me within about an hour for a reservation the next evening. The restaurant was just the two of us and we started out the night with a warm greeting from Patricio and a Chardonnay sour (absolutely delicious!). We had 7 courses... More

Patrizio was one of the best chefs i ve met. He is really passionate about chilean food, and look for best ingredients. However if you are looking for a "normal" dinner this is not the place, here is an experience - 7 different courses, one type of wine. Its amazing! Just ask before for the price to avoid any suprises... More

Patricio, owner and cook did a magnificent job explaining, cooking, and letting us feel welcomed at his place. Not only the food was great, but so were the drinks, and his many suggestions wine, etc . I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to taste and experience true Chilean cuisine.

This is an experience that should not be missed! We were served a seven course meal, each one presented to us and explained personally by Patricio. The flavors were outstanding. The ambiance superb. The personal attention was bar none. Pactricio's attention to details made this an experience we will never forget. It was a fabulous way to spend our last... More

Patricio treated us like friends when cooking for us in his restaurant. We experienced the greatness of Chilean cuisine and culture in this unique setting. This was the highlight of our trip in Chile. Thank you Patricio.

Served directly by the chef who is passionate about Chilean food. Each dish was presented well and embodied traditional Chilean ingredients and elevated to an elegant and creative level.

My husband and I are living in Santiago for three months, and this past weekend we decided to escape to Santa Cruz for a getaway of wine tasting and relaxtion. Little did we know that eating at this restaurant would be the highlight of our weekend (though the wineries were lovely) and perhaps even the highlight of our time in... More

We recently enjoyed a meal at Montmei in Santa Cruz, it felt like having a personal chef for the evening. Having booked via email the day prior, Patricio opened the restaurant specifically for us and then proceeded to guide us through an entirely enjoyable gastronomical experience. Food was essentially Patricio's take on what appear to have been some Chilean staples.... More
