Superb restaurant, especially if you want to go beyond traditional Chilean food. Superb restaurant, especially if you want to go beyond traditional Chilean food. With a large family party, were accomodated in one of the nice side-rooms with paintings representative for the south of the country, thus preserving our privacy and commodity. Dishes were really nice, and thought through. Quite accustomed to eating game in Europe, this was a welcome deja vue... More

The place was totally packed, We ordered Reinetta, Trout and Salmon as main dishes.Hmmmmm.....delicious! Everything was fresh cooked and tasted amazing Service also was really good, personalized and friendly old waiters knowing what to do when the glass of wine was empty. Try the pisco 2oz as a starter cocktail!!!

Great place! Sabían que Andrew Zimmern visitó esta picada, comió locos, ostiones al pil-pil y machas crudas? Andrew Zimmern visited this place. They have a picture of Andrew with Mrs. Ana María.

We arrived at the restaurant for lunch at noon. We knew it was early but the waiter (still in street clothes) told us that they didn't open until 1:00 but we could wait at our table and have a drink if we liked. We were seated, menus passed and drinks were served along with bread and salsa. At about 12:30... More

Nice and clean place, excellent food and great selection. it's a little away from key neighborhoods but worth going there. After visiting some of Santiago finest restaurants Ana Maria was our favorite. Food was better and prices as well. should be at the top of the list of any foody.

I've been twice now with colleagues for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. I had an Angus steak with fries and salad (and tasted my colleague's filet mignon). Both were excellent, a l'ingès (rare). Today I had salmon with herb sauce and grilled vegis on the side. Scrumptious! I'll be back. Oh, the espresso tasted too much like Turkish/Greek coffee... If you want to have a nice dinner in a nice atmosphere this is the place. Ana Maria are a local star (chef) in Santiago famous for her food so take the opportunity if you are in the hoods. They have a winelist with a lot if Chilean wines. The service is casual but perfect.

Writing this review is as bit tough--to be completely honest, the food wasn't the best we had on our trip. But, the service was impeccable and the ambience was great--maybe we didn't order the perfect dish for us, so we'd certainly encourage you to choose a "game" that you think you'd like! We were greeted by the host and were... More

Maybe I am just not a fan of Chilean food or maybe I just did not order the right food, but I find the cooking rather ordinary at Ana Maria. I started with a consomme, and had albacora (they did not have sea bass, which I originally wanted) and sautée mushroom for main course. However, I was not impressed by... More
