Good wine and appetizers

Visited here with a friend. Ordered wine which was quite good as well as starters. I enjoyed my main but my friend did not. Would suggest asking for a table upstairs as our table was in a bit of an odd spot on the first floor.

I got the worst food poisoning of my life in this restaurant. I have let the restaurant know, and they got back to me once, but they have not replied to the last mail I sent them. I would never set foot in that place again. I am still not well 1 month later!

I loved the wine.... But that's about it. Everything else was average... The hostess took awhile to seat us although it was a holiday and no wait list ... And yes, I had made reservation! The waiter took FOREVER to come get our order. I was about to get up and leave, but a almost loud "excuse me" got me... More

I had previously explained to my wife how great Peruvian food was, and on our first opportunity to sample that at Astrid & Gaston she was, as a self-confessed foodie, absolutely astounded by the quality and service of the restaurant. The ceviche was to die for, the meat and rice dishes so wonderfully flavoursome and well presented, and the matching... More

Was trying to decide where to have my last meal in Santiago, when trip advisor showed this restaurant. Going in it doesn´t look like a fancy restaurant, but after the first bite of cebiche, everything changed! Had a cebiche clásico and then wagyu beef. The cebiche was simply amazing in its simplicity. The fish just melted in my mouth and... More

Great service and fantastic food. The wine list was great (almost all Chilean and wonderful), we ordered 7 different items and they were all winners. Best dishes: The grouper, the causas, and the ceviche sampler. We also liked the duck confit "tacos". We will be back for sure.

A beautiful small restaurant with wonderful service. Food was very nice. Don't miss ordering a Pisco Sour drink. There is a view of the kitchen from the tables and it is nice to watch the food preparation. Service is a little slow but that is to be expected in South America. They will call a taxi for you after dinner.

Dining here is a great experience. The food is wonderful - typically Chilean and attractively served by charming staff. For those who like fine food coming here is a real delight. The restaurant is unusual, lively and very popular so one need book in advance. We dined here twice – the food on our first visit was outstanding and better... More

Spectacular meal which, while far from inexpensive, was a bargain by North American standards for a meal of this quality. The restaurant is a way from central Santiago, in a nondescript area of town (we took a taxi for 5000 pesos from Barrio Lastarria), and when my daughter and I arrived at 8 pm it was to an empty room...
