Nice cafe with high prices and wifi; but good ambience

As most cafes go in Puerto Varas, this one is also high priced but what else are you going to do in PV or Gstaad or Saanen or Bariloche but have coffee and eat chocs and relax...?

We loved the place, food and service. We took the fried quinoa appetizer which was simply delicious with a dry Pisco sour.

We visited this lovely cafe yesterday for a mid day snack. Creme Brulee and Hot Chocolate (70% dark choc). Today we decided to visit this cafe again for another afternoon tea. We ended up ordering food for dinner after looking at their menu. The food was amazing. We had prawn caesar salad and prawn risotto, both dishes was so delicious!!... More

I've stayed in Puerto Varas for 3 weeks. I've tried most restaurants and caffes. This one is one of my favourite places. I've had three lunches here and the food was always fantastic. I'm a coffee fanatic, and although Chile is not a coffee consuming country, their coffee was good. Most importantly the staff was welcoming and friendly, and that's... More

We came here three times, for drinks, dinner and breakfast. It was so good we didn't feel any need to go elsewhere! We had the prawn risotto for dinner, along with a 'Barista' salad. Both were amazing. The salad especially - it included mushrooms and sundried tomatoes, neither of which you see frequently in southern Chile! Their fresh orange juice... More

I just spent a very relaxed afternoon here. I had a coffee, hot choc and one of the local brewed craft beers (very tasty). Coffee is better than most ive had in sth America so far (Patagonia). Nice view and good wifi. Great way to while away a rainy afternoon. Food looked good, but didn't get to sample this time.... More

We had lunch when arriving in Puerto Varas and returned several times for a capuccino (excellent) or sandwiches and salad. It was always busy and we liked spending time there.

This place does the best coffee in the south of Chile but HORRID grumpy waitresses in the morning. I didn't go back despite good food, drink and location, just because of the sheer rudeness and unfriendliness of the service (I'm not a demanding customer and I speak Spanish - all I did was smile and ask for a coffee/breakfast). I... More

Always busy, this restaurant is comfortable and welcoming. The service is remarkably efficient for Chile and the food very good. Had one of the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten.
