Dined at this restaurant for the first time. Restaurant decor is simple, nothing fancy. But behind all these, great food awaits you. Food serve here really homely cooked and portions are really generous. Price very affordable, don have to burn your pocket. We truly enjoyed the food during our visit, even though the service a bit letdown. But will definitely... More

Just went for dinner there alone. Glad I made reservations as the seating area was small. The prix fixe menu is affordable and I went for the $60 3-course option. I had the stuffed capsicum with ratatouille for the entrée and I liked how the dish was a good mix of tastes and textures. I had the boeuf stroganoff and... More

We were delighted to find this small French restaurant local to he Tanjong Rhu estate. The menu is full of well loved staples and the chef doesn't mess around too much with tried and tested dishes. For $60 the three course fixed price menu is good value and you get a lot of food, although you may find you pay... More

Brought my mum for dinner after recommendations from friends. The set-up is charming but we felt the seats were not the most comfortable. We had the salmon and scallops for starters which were disappointing and lowered our expectations for the maincourse. Turned out otherwise as we felt the the lamb rack was excellent. Their version of duck confit and seared... More

Having this gem of a restaurant close to where we live is dangerous! After 8 or 9 visits we have never had anything but a 5 star experience including; ambience, service, food, wine, atmosphere, enjoyment! The Fois Gras starter is simply stunning with a glass of the recommended wine. The beef bourguignon for main or the duck, or the Wagyu... More

Good value for money. At 50 dollars, you can have a substantial main course with a dessert or a starter. The portions are generous. With the circle line, you can have easy access to the restaurant.

For pictures and full reviews, visit my blog at www.ms-skinnyfat.com I love the atmosphere at Le Bistrot. There is none of that snooty French attitude. Instead, the servers' pleasant demeanor are a reflection of the cheerful and cosy ambience. They were really helpful with recommendations and were very attentive and friendly. The whimsical decor- think grass carpeted walls, picture-framed hallways,... More

Been there 2x & both experiences were excellent! Service is impeccable; finally, waiting staff who can carry on witty conversations besides knowing the menu well. Restaurant has sufficient space to allow privacy but still visible when you need their attention. Clean & many interesting little decor to view. Located just meters from the parking lot. Food...
