Stopped in for a quick meal at a table on Haji Street. The waiter recommended the Kabsa Lamah. I also ordered a Mango Juice, but that didn't arrive until I asked for it when the main course was delivered. Was a bit hard to find as we were looking for the restaurant name, but suddenly realized that the board says Al Majlis. Don't expect a great decor, the ambiance is of a typical cafe. We had chicken tagine and some lamb rolls, it was very disappointing. This restaurant is overrated and quite expensive for the quality of the food. Quality of the products and cooking are just good. I wouldn't advise it to anyone.

Had the falafel wrap. Came with decent fries . Sauce was generic chilli sauce served in a olastic to-go container. Staff were around but didnt pay much to me- a solo diner. Was surprise by the taxes and service fee when i went to pay the bill..

It's like I went to a different restaurant to the other reviewers. Really? The food was as per the title and the service was not much better. For a place surrounded by lively bars, cool cafés and quirky shops, this was disappointing.

Ordered Mezze Platter and Foul & Falafel.All dips were from refrigerator and pita bread was also not fresh from oven.We are used to hot food and did not like much.Falafel was very good.Dips were also good in taste.Prices are bit on higher side.

The format is more like a cafe , like the name suggests, the food is quite good. Better than other middle Eastern restaurants in Singapore I've been to.

I really, really needed a falafel sandwich and Cafe le Caire delivered. It was a pleasure to dine on good food and enjoyed people watching while I ate. The service was very friendly and I'm looking forward to going back.
