There are few places like this in the world. Impeccable details. Exquisite food. superior service. One of the highlights was a demitasse of lobster bisque. Unbelievable. Next time you're in Singapore stop. Worth every $.

Just like some of the other reviews, I will admit this place was expensive, but it was FANTASTIC! The service staff were amazingly good for Singapore which can be really touch and go in other high end places. The menu is good, the atmosphere is nice and my stomach loved it.

Dined here recently on a business dinner, not the best food I've ever tasted and was definitely not value for money. You do expect to pay a premium in such places but this was way over the top.

The setting and service are impecable. These are some of the finest waitstaff we have ever known. Unfortunately, we were not prepared for the exhoritant prices or the inordinately small quantities of food. An entrée of two to three ounces of truffle dusted Dover sole cost nearly $140 (US). An appetizer of Loch Fyne smoked salmon featured two or three... More

The steaks were medium rare as we have requested and was well marinated. Crusty on the outside and juicy and soft inside ..... Money well spent .... Thank you chef I enjoyed my steak. The waitresses were full of service, polite and attentive except for the usher who did not show more care when she is trying to explain some... More

I must confess to feeling skeptical about eating at Raffles Hotel but it was an outstanding evening and surpassed my expectations on almost every level. Firstly, if you want a classy, private, colonial setting then it can't be beaten in Singapore. The tasteful Christmas decorations made it all the more special. Food first class. French section of wine list is... More

I love the old colonial feel to this Hotel and the Grill fits in well with this style. Food and ambiance are good and the steak was excellent. Service good too. ..and you must go to the Long Bar for a drink......it has a long history!!

It is a must. Not only for the nostalgia of the Old Empire and the rest. But because it is a very nice, very comfortable place to eat and drink. Nothing special as food or drinks. Not impressive service. Frankly, other then the prices nothing strikingly. But it is worth to go. It is a memorable experience to sit in... More

Raffles has huge style. The dinning room was great and the service excellent. The Colonial feel of the place was superb. That said it was very expensive and the wine massively overpriced. The course sizes were very small. Average cost of the food with half a bottle of wine could easily set you back £150/£200 per head. Expensive but worth... More
