Went there for dinner when staying at the hotel. Generally very impressed. Service very good indeed (which you expect in a place like this but I have been let down in plenty of other almost equally grand Singapore hotels). Room just the right size and had all the colonial charm you expect at Raffles. Food - my wife and I... More

Her in doors made me buy a new suit and her a new dress to go to Raffles Bar...!!! Ghastly experience.!! I am definately not the least snobbish but this is the most touristy thing I have ever done....................do yourselves a favour and give it a miss. It seemed a little like a conveyor belt ....in one end ....out the... More

This was actually a big let Down. We had the degustation menu but none of the dishes was memorable at all. No amuse bouche was offered whilst neighbouring tables got some from ordering from the a la carte menu. Presentation so so. The try to sell you expensive wine without asking them for suggestion. Felt like I did not have... More

We wanted a special dinner for our last night in Singapore. Left it to the last minute so found it impossible to get into the 'tsar' restaurants as much as the staff at the Naumi Hotel tried for me. Resigned, we walked into the rear palm courtyard of the Raffles Hotel, a pleasant setting, although Italian food which we weren't... More

I've made it a habit to at least dine once at The Grill of Raffles Hotel when I'm in Singapore. When I made the reservation by phone I mentioned that I was going to celebrate my birthday. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I was presented with a compimentary birthday cake after the meal. Staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, polite... More

Even the fame of "Ruffles" name does not warrant the prices in a relatively empty restaurant, with a team of obsequious waiters and a hollow atmosphere. The food was, of course very artistically presented, but the duck has seen better days and the loster tasted, well, slighly athletic and taste-free. Having experienced extensive range of exotic flavours and superb international... More

Maybe it's the old world charm that the Grill is trying to evoke, but there's no "wow" factor here - no issue with the quality of the food or the service, but the restaurant, in my opinion, has lost whatever USP it supposedly has.

Dear chiamchao, Greetings from Raffles Singapore. Thank you for visiting Raffles Grill recently and for taking the time to review us. I was pleased to read that you perceived the food quality as well as our service to be meeting your expectations. At the same time it is disappointing for me to read that you found the venue itself lacking... More

As expected as one of the most famous restaurants in the world, the food and service was exceptional. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so it was rather lacking in atmosphere. Cheapest bottle of wine was £100, which seemed rather unnecessary.

We chose to dine at the Raffles Grill as an end of holiday treat. Yes it is expensive, but exceptional service and quality food does not come cheap. Having dined in many Michelin star restaurants the Raffles Grill did not disappoint. From the friendly welcome, to the exceptional dining room staff, the experience was up there with the best. If...
