Le Pont de Vie closed permanently and has been taken over by DEEB, proprietor Daniel, and reopened as AMADEUS, an upscale Austrian restaurant and bar. The cozy interior is pleasingly furnished, and presents itself as an elegant restaurant. The menu lists a superb selection of Austrian and central European courses, imported wine from Austria, and a great selection of spirits.... More

Pont de Vie is closed. When I called a few weeks ago they said they were changing to a Mediterranean format. Missing Kate who was a big reason we went there.

Eat here whenever in Singapore. Standards always good. Romel does a great job. Duck confit a bit dry this time and the pork chop sauce was too over powering but overall a good night.

We were invited there after by a business partner but the service and the meal was so perfect that if we had stayed longer we would definitely want to go there again. Their service was excellent and food presentation was amazing. It was so good that my boyfriend and I could not talk anything about business with our host to... More

I was there on last Friday to celebrate a friend's birthday with 5 other good friends; and we certainly had some odd requests - hair spray; red packet; and phone charger; which the servers had attended to us with no qualms; and in a very efficient yet professional manner. Excellent service; indeed! Saulte to them! Then, come the food that... More

Pleasant restaurant with good food - the truffle souffle entree was the highlight and totally delicious; duck confit a little dry but good; wine by the glass was limited. Service was good and we really appreciated not being rushed with courses served too quickly as happens is so many restaurants. A little overpriced.

Tell them you want Kate to be your server and make sure to have the cheese truffle souffle. They also make their own duck confit which is very good (this is my favorite dish and I have had in the best restaurants in Belgium and France). If they had a nice red Burgundy by the glass it would be perfect!

We felt that LPDV was good as a package. Tucked in the charming Arab Street enclave, it set the diners into a more relaxed dining pace. We spent literally the whole evening there. Seated at the back of the restaurant, the darker ambience was apt for a little romantic birthday celebration. We both had full course dinner with wine. Although... More

Traveling all the time, I'm always searching for a restaurant that's a home-away-from-home; at Pont de Vie, I found it. After only a few days in Singapore, the owners, chef, and staff feel like close friends. The cuisine is wonderful (the duck confit and lamb are especially memorable), and the wine selections right on spot. But it's the personal touch... More
