Average restaruant

This was one restuarant quite calm and serene and not very much crowded. As far as ambience goes, I rate this higher than other restaurants in Little India AS far as food taste is there, it is only average. Some items were good.

I like the curry here with coconut. Small and large tables available. Service was adequete for me. Hot milk tea was served in stainless steel cup but I prefer glass or cups. This tends to be a place for couples or groups.

We discovered this place on a visit to Singapore in February 2010. When we were in Singapore recently in September 2011, we made this place our breakfast for the four days we were there. The dosai and pungol are incredibly satisfying and very cheap (about 3 Singapore dollars). You can easily get out of here, including drinks, for under 10... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
