Great ribs and soup

Enjoyable evening dinner. Got a little greedy and ordered the prime ribs, vegetables and liver on top on the yutiao. Enjoyed the ribs and the soup best. Celebrity decor a little dated but service very efficient. Would come again.

It was the first time I had Bat Kut Teh... and I was quite skeptical before the dish was served. But once I tasted it --- it was yummmy... I never had port soup - so well cooked. i will try other dishes as well. Will certainly visit again.

Tried 2 popular bak kut teh restaurant in Singapore, and I got to rule that this one is better. The ribs are tender, the soup's saltiness is just right, the aroma is wonderful.

This is one of the bak kut teh that I have tried so far, it goes perfectly with the "you tiao". There are quite a variety of the side dishes availble too. However, peanut is the one that tasted very plain and not worth it at all. Average per head spend is about $17. If you also buy the instant... More

By far, this is one of the best bak kut teh i have ever tried thus far here in Singapore, the tender meat and superb soup based is really by far one of the best. Their braised pig trotter is another worth-trying dishes over there, being one of the must visit restaurant for tourist who want to try some local... More

Tender ribs that melt in your mouth coupled with deep-fried youtiao dipped in dark soy sauce. That is the reason many flock to this well-loved traditional stall. Try also the kidney soup, best kidneys I've ever had, always perfectly cooked yet still soft at the core. The braised pig trotter is one sinfully satisfying dish, the meat is tender and... More

it is a must visit restaurant that serve a really good bak kut teh. Bak kut teh is some sort of pork ribs soup with Chinese herbs, well it is hard to explain. It is in the walking distance from many hotels in Balestier. They are open until around 2 AM, so it is a good place to go especially... More

If you wonder why there is a long line at the steps of this restaurant daily and nightly, and if you wonder why so many photographs of celebrities grace the wall of this simple little eatery, well then I suggest you give it a try. I have been to Founder Bak Kut Teh many times, and have tried a lot... More

ribs and side dishes are quite expensive compared to other outlets along the same road, honestly used to be long queue during dinner time and weekends. seems the crowd had simmered after the last price hike, $9 for 2 pieces of rib and $2 for a tiny plate of pickled veggie. i had tried nearby, at Rangoon Road, better priced...
