One of the best

There are so many Bak Kit Teh restaurants in Singapore. I think this is the best. Prices is reasonable . The pork rib is good. Soup can be refilled.

Founder Bak Kut Teh has another branch at Race Course Road which is great as it is more spacious and relaxed than the one at Balestier. The food is the same at both the outlets. Order the Pork Bak Kut Teh and you get hot soup with Chinese medicinal herbs and fresh pork that is tender and juicy. Soup refills... More

You'll never go wrong if you will bring your friends here esp. those who are first time in Singapore. The taste is very unique but you will surely know the difference vs other bak kut teh. Just keep in mind that you have to Q at lunch or dinner and they are closed every Tuesdays.

What i love about this place is the famous Ba kut teh and also the liver in the soup! the liver is sooooo soft and tender and when you eat it with steam rice it just make it even better!

Lived in Singapore for about 2 years and this is the best bak kut teh I've tried. Very peppery and garlicky and delicious broth. The meat falls off the bone. Delicious! Often a long line for dinner, so be prepared.

Went to Founder Bak Kut Teh a couple of times for dinner, while staying in Singapore and have to say really enjoyed it. The peppery stock was delish, and pork was very tender. From memory all the soup dishes used the same stock. And if you are lucky (probably more like 'famous') you'll get your photo taken to put up... More

Cheap and nice! the soup is the marvelous!!! We even took a pic with the owner. :) Lots of locals and celebrities would go there. To our surprise, besides the soup, the meat was good as well.

This is probably one of the nicest bak kut teh i've had. Although i believe there are many different ways to serve bak kut teh. I like this place because of the peppery taste, if you don't like pepper then this is not the place.

founder bakuteh is located in balestier road, for me this bakuteh the most delicious in the Balestier Road, I've tried several types bakuteh at Balestier Road but I was most like the founder bakuteh. tastes very good dan the price is not too expensive, but if you come at night is very crowded.
