Opened in November 2012, The Halia at Raffles Hotel is the latest and third addition to The Halia group of restaurants in Southeast Asia. The 100-seater restaurant, housed in the premises of the former Seah Street Deli, is an inviting space with lush planted foliage complemented by wood-carved tables and daylight streaming in through classic French windows. The restaurant prides itself on a refreshing concept which encourages flexibility and communal dining, with dishes classified under "large plates" or "little plates" instead of the usual "appetizers" and "mains". It also boasts an al fresco bar, which serves up its signature Singapore Sling by Hendrick's.

Good quality food

If you think you are going into Raffles Hotel booking this restaurant.... you are not. It is down the side of the hotel and is quite casual dining. The food was very good though and the prices were very reasonable.

I must say each time I step into Raffles Hotel I always have this out of place feeling, maybe of its status symbol being number 1 hotel, well after one whole day of shopping in my shorts and sandals I came upon by accident this unique restaurant, I was more thirsty rather than hungry. Everyone else was in their executive... More

As we are staying in a close-by hotel, we decided to visit Halia based on trip advisor reviews. The place is well decorated & has a pleasent environment. We've ordered green salad & french fries & the potatoes tasted so good! Then, we tried the crab spaghetti & its well cooked & has a balanced taste. I strongly recommend their... More

This is a trendy restaurant but very good food. The 'Hendricks' Singapore sling is to be recommended as is the signature crab dish

I absolutely love this place, have been here twice now and it's been great each time! This time we had the Halibut which is always great, love the fine balance of flavors they did to this dish. My favorite dish is of course the goats cheese as an appetizer and their Halia infusion tea. Five stars and must try restaurant!!

A wonderful lunch at raffles hotel! The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu as well as attentive to our requests. Lunch was enjoyable and allowed U.S. entry to see Raffles. I would highly recommend a visit.
