Poor customer service spoils the entire dining experience

It was a special birthday occasion for my 11th year old girl and we look forward to a nice brunch at TWG at MBS. The food was pricey but expected, the service was lousy which was not expected at all. Always one of my very favorite tea salons because of the posh ambience, soothing World music, good service and exquisite table / tea ware - on top of great selection of teas (more than 800!), food and snacks, I alternate between the outlets at Ion Orchard and Marina Bay Sands. While I miss the sandwiches with the french toast that... More

Besides the vast amount of teas to pick, the have great food as well. For instance salads with tea dressing. I had the wagyu burger with lapsang souchong smokey tea wich pairs nicely. Nice food, high standards. Be sure to checkout the store as well.

Everywhere I look something is sparkling: gold, fine china and most precious crystal, which you can likewise purchase. We see the most wonderful wooden tea tins, which are filigree hand-painted. The rear walls are covered with huge tins full of fine teas. It is not surprising at all, that TWG is known for its innovative tea variety. There is, for... More

Let's face it malls are a little chaotic and this place gives s bit of tranquility. I had the 3 sandwhich triangles , scones and tea. The scones come with jam and cream. Pros - nice selection of teas and sandwiches - calm area - you are on the bridge over the fake canal Cons - overpriced - scones should... More

TWG is the best tea lounge in Singapore and it provides one the best tea selections in the world. My favorite tea in Silver Moon while my favorite dessert is the wonderful Singapore Surprise. Try them both.

The promising setting seems to be the lure for tourists. Overall we found it an average service with average food and high prices. Not worth a return visit.

The place is just beautiful so its nice to sit and just enjoy your tea. The cutlery and plates are just so pretty! When you go to this place, make sure you are not rushing. Their tea menu is so extensive, that it will take you at least 15mins to select one. The tea was great with the subtle flavors.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
