The soup is very tasty, the steak melts in your mouth. For sgd 35 is reasonably priced. Also includes coffee.

Am glad to be back.. Back in Singapore to my love..my little hidden GEM Italian heart. Pepenero has a new set of team, Sardinia chef and a Tuscan manager. They have indeed make my home coming a great nite with friends. The staff are lovely and professional and nice to the limoncello at the end of the meal. Just like... More

Since my last visit, there has been some changes with chef and small decor updates. Most importantly, the ambience remains cozy and intimate and the food is still very good. The ossobuco was very filling and tasty, followed by a insanely perfect chocolate lava cake. Keep up the good work over there.

I visited PepeNero with a couple of friends. We chose their degustation special 4 course meal - we were there on a Wednesday Ladies Night so it included free flow Prosecco. Fantastic value for $69 for meal and free flow. Great service and nice ambience. Definitely recommend it based on our experience.

Last month was my mum's birthday. We were there for dinner. The ambient was really nice. My Italian housemate was the one who recommended this place and said that The Fiorentina here was better than any restaurant he had tried in Italy. So we ordered La Fiorentina as the main course, the beef was really king beef. I couldn't explain... More

I had Saturday lunch with my wife and my son at Pepe Nero. The experience was SHOCKING! Starting from miserable frozen old bread toasted and served with tasteless olive oil to tasteless prosciutto and burrata and cold pasta dishes terribly done. ANTIPASTI FREDDI We ordered "Burrata Pugliese con Pomodori Pachino e Prosciutto Crudo di Parma" $29, Prosciutto and burrata were... More

I was there for dinner during restaurant week. The food just blew me away. It started with the bread basket that came with sundried tomatoes and olive dips. Not just your usual olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We had the $55 restaurant week menu. The bresaola with figs was a good match as it helped balance the saltiness of the... More

I had a really nice Saturday lunch in PepeNero: the ambient was really nice and the food was even better! The home-made gnocchi, the raviolis, the the foie-gras pasta, the parmigiana di melanzane, the ginger creme-brule...the only thing I had to regret was that my stomach was running out of space!. I've tried many Italian restaurants in Singapore so far,... More

My party was celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl was looking for authentic Italian dining options. Since it was Singapore Restaurant Week (which by the way could do with more publicity), we chose a STAR-rated participating restaurant and arrived at PepeNero (which means black pepper in Italian and also happens to be my favourite spice)! We were lucky to... More

The food is great, service professional and warm. The bar is great for pasta, gnocchi or delicious meat. The outdoor seating is wonderful and the owner really brought together a wonderful team. Everyone from singles to couples to families & groups of friends can be found having a great meal or drink. Last but not least, the wine list will... More
