Wonderful atmosphere and outside seating. Even if it would be raining you still can enjoy sitting outside under the pavilion. White walls and tables mixed with nice big green plants makes it a perfect place for an airy outside dinner. Only the big Air Con of the hotel, near where we did seat was a bit noisy, but a few... Saw the patio seating area as we were walking by and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. Great combination of French/Vietnamese cuisines in a lovely romantic setting. We opted for two fish dishes and had a bottle of the house white (a burgundy) - delicious. Excellent waitstaff that were helpful in guiding us through the menu. They... More

Loved this restaurant. Great service & the food was excellent. They have a great wine list & the ambience is really lovely. Can't wait to go back there

Le Tonkin offers a wonderful menu, great wine list, sensational atmosphere and world class team. It was too difficult to narrow down choices from the menu - all items sounded delicious - and we were not disappointed with what we chose. A really good selection of wines - not too many but enough to complement the menu. We were a... More

Expensive for very ordinary food. For only 3 courses, it took extremely long between courses. We were getting restless. Will not be going back for sure.

This was probably the best Vietnamese I have had in Singapore. Everything was excellent, beautifully presented. The service was efficient and you barely noticed the waiting staff but glasses were always full and food kept apprearing at the table. The outdoor area has a great atmosphere. I woudl recommend it for both groups of friends and romantic dinner.

Was introduced to this charming French-Vietnamese restaurant in the funky Club Hotel, just behind the Maxwell Food Centre in Tanjong Pagar. Club street is well known as a trendy hang out with upmarket bars and restaurants. Went with a group of about 10. Sadly it was raining as we had to move from the quaint open air terrace on the... I booked a table looking forward to a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars. Instead rain stopped play and we were seated in a small closet like room off a corridor separated by a small curtain. The ambience was bad and we were so close to the next table that we may well as just have joined their party. Sadly... More

Allow me to declare that I live on Club Street, dine on Club Street, drink on Club Street - you may say it's my 'hood'. After returning from yet another business / pleasure adventure in Europe, I found I needed and wanted to reacquaint myself with the local businesses here in the Chinatown area. Club Street is quite unique, a... More
