Great Authentic Thai food at reasonable prices

Generally Thai food is quite expensive in Singapore. But our visit to Jai Thai proved that wrong. This was our second visit and both trips have produced authentic Thai food at affordable prices. We had prawn cakes, spring rolls, red chicken curry, fish in chilli sauce, fried rice and mango salad... read more

Its not an expensive place but it does not compromise on the taste bud. the portions are good at the price they charge. I will visit this place for my frequent Thai food craving. Warning, if you want an upscale interiors then this is not the place but if you want good thai food it is. Enjoy.

Love the authentic Thai food here. Must try the tamarind sea bass or tilapia! We always order the mango salad for starters! Won't break your bank as it is value for money. And we always wash it down with a nice hot lemongrass tea.

Food is not as good as some restaurants I visited in Thailand, but still authentic, and rare for this price in Singapore. Both my girlfriend and myself are frequent visitors to this place, usually after our movie nights.

My family and I have been loyal fans of Jai Thai. Food has always been above average and price has always been righy. Service... friendly and very family oriented. But I will never set foot into Jai Thai again. On the 4th of feb at about 740pm we went to our usual katong outlet for dinner. We ordered 6 dishes... More

I have eaten here many times.... but the last two times, over the last 6 months or so, something has changed. The service has dropped right off, and the food is no where near the quality it used to be..... still great value for money, but it used to be superb... there used to be Thai staff serving, now there... We ended up here after reading reviews about it. Needed some vegetarian options as well and they gladly consented to it. The place was relatively empty but in 10 mins time, there were people waiting outside. Shortage of service staff is highly visible which I guess is the case with many F&B outlets on the island. Apparently they just serve... More
