Tasty food - affordable price

Me and my husband decided to have our lunch here after checking few menus out of restaurants in Little India. We didn't want to spend too much money This restaurant has been the right choice! The menu is wide at affordable price. We decided to get 2 set combo: chicken (10,90 sgd) and mutton (11,90... read more

Me and my colleague had our dinner there on 24th August. We asked for a veg thali. One North Indian and other South Indian. At the start we were served about 6 papadams. The quantity was very good. The ambience is good. The restaurant is clean. However, the Thali was average. The sambhar was not quiet upto the mark. The... More

Trawling around little India we stumbled across this restaurant on the corner of Belilios and Klang in Singapores Little India - there were plenty of locals there so we went in and were served promptly. We ordered a jug of Tiger beer @ S22.50 and decided what to eat - the menu cards are well worn - a good sign... More

We ordered catering from Taste of India for Company event, lunch, snacks, dinner and Supper. Food was good. Reshmi tikka and Chicken Chettinad in lunch were really good. Snacks time, they provided Samosa and Bhajiya with chutney and Masala Chai. Authentic taste and fresh. Dinner was Indo-Chinese, Kottu paratha, Chilli fish and chilli chicken. The amount of chilli/pepper they put... More

Visited the restaurant with some colleagues, when we were looking for a mid-range place to eat in Little India. And we were not disappointed, both the décor, the food and the service were very authentic Indian. The food was plenty; it was spicy but not too spicy. We ordered a lot of different plates and shared it. Good value for... More

The Name Taste of India is not true, Full of Oil and Pepper , Name should be Oil and Pepper of India. Had asked for less oil while Take away, when reached back to the hotel to eat the 25% of gravy was oil.

Disappointed by the meal. Very selected meal. And mostly not good taste. One thing please keep in mind. Try to catch before 7.00 pm to enjoy dining. Else its really a big mess.

Mediocre food, average ambience. Had been here for lunch. Would recommend you to try some place else.

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
