Not a good quality food. Service is also poor. The waiter who served us, Cigarette smell was coming from his mouth. Overall, not at all good experience. We just went there to see ad on Indian TV Channel but found that it looks good only in ads. I usually don't give this kind of rating to anyone but Taste of... More

This was the best food jaunt we saw and experienced in Singapore. All the items were up to our likings. We had requested them for less spicy foods which they obliged. The authentic South Indian food was just out of the world.

Few colleagues gathered for a lunch and we started ordering some favourite dishes and to our surprise the waiter is more concern about their big buffet at that very night so most of the dishes they are unable to prepare and understandable is a big buffet dinner.

We stumbled across this restaurant while we were exploring Little India and ended up staying for dinner. It is located in a laneway right near one of the busy Hindu temples, and there were locals coming and going from the restaurant all night, which is always a good sign of authentic, tasty food. We ordered a mountain load of food,... More

The restaurant is close to our offices in Rex House, so I often take the team there for lunch. Always enjoy the meal, and the set lunch is great value. There's a busy functions room upstairs, with much coming and going, which adds to the atmosphere. I've also been a couple of times for dinner, and again had a good... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
