Good value for money.

Visited the restaurant with some colleagues, when we were looking for a mid-range place to eat in Little India. The Name Taste of India is not true, Full of Oil and Pepper , Name should be Oil and Pepper of India. Had asked for less oil while Take away, when reached back to the hotel to eat the 25% of gravy was oil.

Disappointed by the meal. Very selected meal. And mostly not good taste. One thing please keep in mind. Try to catch before 7.00 pm to enjoy dining. Else its really a big mess.

Mediocre food, average ambience. Had been here for lunch. Would recommend you to try some place else.

We arrived while the restaurant was "being cleaned", even though is was past opening hours. One would assume the cleaning should be done after closing the day before, but we happened to be starving so we waited until they let us in. They sit us in a glass table which was blurry by the dirt from cloth it was cleaned... More

Not a good quality food. Service is also poor. The waiter who served us, Cigarette smell was coming from his mouth. Overall, not at all good experience. We just went there to see ad on Indian TV Channel but found that it looks good only in ads. I usually don't give this kind of rating to anyone but Taste of... More

This was the best food jaunt we saw and experienced in Singapore. All the items were up to our likings. We had requested them for less spicy foods which they obliged. The authentic South Indian food was just out of the world.

Few colleagues gathered for a lunch and we started ordering some favourite dishes and to our surprise the waiter is more concern about their big buffet at that very night so most of the dishes they are unable to prepare and understandable is a big buffet dinner.

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
