Food is great

I love the Spicy Fried Cube Chicken dish. Tips: If you buy additional side dish to add into the fish, ask to have it serve on a separate plate instead of them adding it to the fish. You will have more portion. =)

Unless you are into really oily food . If you can tolerate service staff who are not locals and speaks with an arrogant tone and face- this place you may visit. Else I would never return to this place.

very rude service, below hawker center service level for middle range restaurant price, cramped space, shared table with strangers, make me look bad in business deal, rushed out feeling, order, eat, pay and go. all for S$40/person, dirty bathroom. not worth it at all. the spice is authentic, but they don't use high quality fresh fish

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
