Hanging for Sashimi ... perhaps I should have waited.

It had been some time since I had Sashimi so when we passed by this restaurant I figured it was time. Miso was from a packet, the selection of Sashimi was good but it was not served on ice (Singapore is hot) and the fish was not cold, closer to cool. Beer was OK (but Singapore prices). Was there alone first and I liked it so much I took my girlfriend for dinner there. The sushi and California rolls were great. We had fried baby octopus which was very good, and cod and eel which were really tasty. So on the food side it's a very nice place. Another great advantage from my side is the location:... More

Food was mediocre in quality, very high in quantity, quite different from what you would expect from a typical Japanese restaurant. Also some waiters were quite loud and not too helpful. Having said that, I must also say that on Clarke Quay most restaurants are catering to turists and not to locals, so that prices are high and quality not... More

We fell across this place because we had a craving for Edamame. Outdoor and Indoor eating options. Very comprehensive menu, good sized portions and you won't leave there hungry. There is something for everyone. Service was good and staff friendly

I was at this restaurant with family. We ordered a lot of food. generally everything was very tasty. Although expensive, but I think worth trying. Ebi Tempura was good. Also Salmon Sashimi was excellent.

We went to this restaurant for the 2nd time. The combination of the ambiance, service, and food make for a nice dinner. This past visit it was my husband's birthday, so I called in advance and asked if they could put something together. They were very nice to offer a complimentary Sushi Cake with a birthday candle. It was a... More

I had four small dishes including two pork salads and a fresh raw tuna and avocado salad. Three dishes would have been sufficient but it was all nice fresh quality food. Of course it was a bit pricey being at Clark Quay by the Singapore river but I recommend it for a nice light dinner especially accompanied by a few... More

We went along due to the location, and not as a result of TripAdvisor prior reviews. Nonetheless, we sat in the special euro-Japanese seating, ordered round after round of food. We liked the staff, and their use of iPads to expedite ordering was pretty cool. The food was fresh and reasonable and the price was consistent with Clarke Quay. We... More

Fantastic Japanese restaurant! Very professional and attentive staff! I was a bit worried to sit as a Japanese table but accommodated to people not use to it! A bit of a hassle though not having a toilet inside!!!!

What could you do, if you like the style of Japanese dining but you don't feel comfortable sitting in that style? That restaurant has a solution :) And yes, the food was nice and the staff helpful.
