This izakaya had a good selection of tasty dishes which went perfectly together with a cold Asahi and a mug of sake. The prices are steep, but this is after all Clarke Quay..!

Loving Japanese culture and food, I was out to dine one night at Clarke Quay when I spotted the Tomo Izakaya. Lured by the tanuki at the door, I went in and was well received, with live music on a saturday night. The house had probably a 40 to 50% occupancy. Ordered some kimchee ramen and some chicken meatballs. The... More

Japanese food of good quality. We tried different kind of maki and a grilled squid: everything has been well prepared (not exceptional but not bad) and quickly served. I give one more point for the position: you will enjoy a great view of the river.

In the heart of Clarke Quay, this funky restaurant offers great variety of food and drinks for all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly and japanese rice ale. Live jazz music was the cherry on top! Definitely recommend it!

the place of this restaurant is amazing. just near the Singapore river. during your dinner you can enjoy the river boats passing by. the food was delicious. but the sharing plate for two( sashimi) was not really enough for two people.

Salmon was stale, even when we informed the staff they did nothing about it. Wrong orders were served even when the store wasn't busy. We were greeted with better service before, but not sure why it dropped tremendously this time around.

We came more or less direct from the airport to the city center starving. Due to friday night the clarque quai was croweded and we dicided to take the only free table at this japsnese restaurant. The service is awful! We waited 15 min. For a bottle of water. The waiter forgot our apertifs, they came after the first meals, after... More

This restaurant is a lovely place to site on the water side and the staff are very prompt. The food was fairly expensive but it is typical for this particular area. I had the sushi platter for 1 for $35 and there wasn't a great deal of sushi but what was there was very nice.
