My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and decided to dine at The Orange Lantern. Our food was served by a bald headed waiter who from the time we arrived, seemed to be shoutimg orders at all the wait staff despite the restaurant not being busy. When he served out food, he spilled hot soup on my leg and... More

Known as a reasonable but not cheap crowded place at lunch serving tasty localized Vietnamese-like fare. For a change, once in a while type of place. Came for a quick Sunday lunch - and food was significantly less tasty. Pho soup base not so favour some, prawn on sugar cane had mushy consistency, crispy spring roll no longer crispy. Squid... Visited this restaurant on my mum's birthday though my mum dislike Vietnamese food as she had tried some Vietnamese food in some restaurant in Singapore and the food put her off. I resided in Vietnam for over 1 year for business sometime 2 years ago, and I love Vietnam cuisine. When I brought my mum into the restaurant, her first... More

Small(ish) place located in busy Harbour Front Centre, we stopped here after cable car ride. They had reasonably priced menu(starter+main+drink) and it was tasty. Extra props to fast service

We had lunch here. We tried several different items on the menu, including the prawn spring rolls, noodle sets and grilled chicken. There was a lot of food included for the price. It was excellently prepared. Very casual ambiance. Service was a bit slow.

Have been several times for Saturday lunches with the family and have mostly enjoyed it - a wide variety of dishes and beverages to choose from, though no alcohol. Food usually very tasty; staff are friendly but sometimes require a bit of reminding / prompting to get things right. Fairly priced.

My first meal after I landed in Singapore. Having heard sing is a land of food selections, I was gravely disappointed with the quality. The vegetAbles weren't fresh and that said it all. Soup was okay to be fair but I wouldn't go again while I'm here.

For those who frequent HCMC or Hanoi, the food is so-so. But for those who haven't been to the real thing, this place serves decent Singapore style Viet food.
