328 Katong Laksa at Novena

The one I visited was the store at Novena, United Square. Some people commend that their Lassa was poor than the original branch in East Coast, but I did not find big difference, especially, the standard of East Coast seemed to be lower than before. Due to the convenient location and taste, it is... read more

The Laksa here is starting to taste very commercialized. Even the prawns look like they are factory prepared. Very disappointed and will not likely come back again. Will be looking for more authentic ones elsewhere.

We travelled to eat here and it definitely didn't disappoint. The only problem was that I didn't stay in Singapore long enough to eat there again.

This is the Singapore-style laksa, a coconut milk & curried shrimp broth based soup with noodles, cockles, shrimp, and other seafood. I got the small portion and couldn't finish it. The broth had great flavor, and if it wasn't spicy enough there was chili sauce available to spice it up even more. Of this version of laksa vs. the penang-style... More

This is the laksa place that Gordon Ramsey made famous. I've been to a lot of hawkers and had a lot of taste of different versions of laksa but in my humble opinion this is a bit hyped. It is a bit bland to my taste and was looking for the strong spice and heat that traditional laksa offers. Overall,... More

For those who never had Laksa, you should try it. It is a specialty of the region, it taste a little bit like Lobster bisque with noodles, but spicier and with more variety of shellfish in the soup. 328 Katong Laksa is one of the best in town. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is super fast. A must... More

I try this Laksa, with high expectation, after reading several reviews in website. It turns out that I'm a little bit of dissapointed. The laksa is quite plain, and as strong and tasty as I expected. It's not bad, but just average. The good thing ss the fish cake. It's delicious, and tasty. Better to mix that things together. It's... More

After a suggestion by a friend and reading online reviews about this so-called "famous" laksa, I decided to give it a try. The 328 Katong Laksa is a curry laksa, rather than the asam (tamarind) laksa which I'm more accustomed to. Priced at $5 for a small bowl, it could be rather filling. However, I'm not quite a fan of... More

Was told about the famous 328 Laksa and needed to try it. I'm not sure if it was the different store that made the difference, but it was a little disappointing. I actually visited one of the other stores, this one was at Novena, United Square. We actually had to go bacl twice as the first night we went it... More

This must be the real original laksa, the soup is very tasty and the noodle is nice. The price not so expensive.
