True this may be just a simple laksa but a very tasty one. The shop is a bit run down but this is no 5 star restaurant just a small sit down or takeaway shop with only a couple of things on the menu. It was just spicy enough for me but perfect for the rest of the family. The... read more

We brought overseas friends and family to try Katong's famous Laksa. The FAMOUS laksa that beat Gordon Ramsey. Everyone was looking forward to it. We ordered 3 bowls of laksa, 2 nasi lemak and some drinks. While deciding on the drinks, my mom asked what other drinks were there, the lady at the counter shouted to her "Look at the... More

I was at the Queensway mall outlet. First time to have a Katong laksa (served with a spoon) and wow! Kind of regret that I didn't order the large bowl to begin with and ended up eating two small bowls in a row. The cockles might look scary but tasted nice and fresh when placed in laksa.

238 Katong has many restaurants and we went to the one in a mall. Myself and 2 other family members never ate laksa before so wanted to try and see what the buzz is about at this place. I ordered a large bowl and finished it up in 10minutes. It was very tasty and flavorful. Since we haven't try any... More

It is barely hyperbole to say that we flew in to Singapore to get a bowl of this food of the gods. Please go,out of your way to try this place. I dream about it.

I tried the laksa again after 2 years break. I was disappointed that even though the place has been modernized, the quality/ taste has dropped quite considerably. The gravy is no longer 'lemak' and no longer fragrant. Now its a bit like eating stale watery food. Even the curry leaves used are certainly not fresh. Will give this place a... More

Laksa at its best! Perfect blend of coconut based spicy soup, noodles, and seafood. I can eat this again and again. Reasonably priced too. 328 Katong Laksa is a must try if you're around the East Coast.

We are Laksa afficionados and search out the best Laksa in our travels both at home and abroad. Our favourite is in Sydney's Chinatown but with a Singapore trip coming up we did some research and 328 Katong Laksa made our list. It seems that Gordon Ramsey visited here and there was much made about his visit and the local... More

Well, what can I say. Read the reviews on trip advisor and thought this was the place to go for a great laksa. Major disappointment. The soup lacked flavour and was nothing like the pictures displayed on the menu board. Definitely a place to avoid. Even when I said to the elderly lady clearing the tables that we did not... More

I guess it is the most famous laksa in town. It is very tasty and cheap as well. Staffs are nice and I will definitely patronize again.
