Good Laksa

A good neighbourhood place for a good and cheap laksa. We had the seafood laksa (all that was on offer that lunchtime). Lots of squid and cockles and a few prawns. Tasty broth.

Was smiling the whole afternoon after having this for lunch. My colleagues were surprised as i had earlier been complaining about the food in Singapore. Had this at Holland Rd.

World class Laksa in a small and to the point venue. My wife has a severe shell fish allergy and there was nothing available to accommodate this. So she had to watch me eat the most delicious Laksa I ever had. I felt guilty at the start, but after eating all was forgotten! Will be back when I am in... More

Been several branches, it just did not work. Coincidentally passed by this original joint, decided to give it another try. First of all, it's clearly better than other branches. Preparation is done in more detail. The flavors were there but not layered. Well, it did not justify the fame it enjoyed.

It is well worth the stroll to hunt down 328 and reward yourself with one of the best laksas around.

Food is really good. The laksa is legendary. This is a no-nonsense restaurant. You are there for its laksa and nothing else. This is a fast food. Don't expect any bells and whistle. Staffs speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Traveled with my Singaporean colleague and this one of legendary Laksa one of the best. The soup made of fresh coconut milk and I think there's a bit mixture of soy bean milk. It's lightly creamy and a bit sweet and so refreshing creates balance taste of seafood (some prawn, slices squid). And the studded "Laksa leaf" with the warm... More

A friend told me that Gordon Ramsay has been beaten in the Singapore Signature Dish Competition. And one of the chef that beat him is the chef at 328 Katong Laksa. So we went there to instantly found out no wonder they beat Gordon Ramsay.

Have not been eating here for a long time, came because someone in the family was craving for it. After the meal none of us would probably want to return for a long time simply because we have had better Laksa elsewhere. The quality and taste have changed for the worst, the gravy was way too diluted and not as... More
