Nothing great

Average laksa which I can get anywhere. The prawns are so tough and tasteless. Nothing great, can try your nearest laksa store and don't need to travel so far.

We were sent to this place by Mackie in our hotel. He gave us precise directions and we found it easily after traveling on the MRT and bus. The trip was worth it - the laksa was delicious and a bonus was the short noodles requiring only a spoon to eat. Highly recommended.

Our friends recommended and went to this restaurant with us. They recommended it and we saw that it was something of a famous place with all the pics of celebrities on the wall. Our expectations were high but it was really disappointing. I am sure you can find better elsewhere. A few years ago I was at the Copthorne Hotel... More

I found this restaurant searching the different hawker websites talking about the best places to go. 328 Katong popped up as a recommended place for good Laksa. According to the website, the place has a lot of history and more recently has been highlighted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. With this in mind, my expectations were pretty high. Unfortunately, the... More

We were recommended this place by a local taxi driver. It's not upmarket and possibly a bit shabby BUT the laksa is delicous and cost only $5 with a Tiger beer. The "small" size was ample. Well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.

I have heard people kept on talking about Katong laksa, saying it represents Singapore Laksa. As a Singaporean, this is my first time trying the famous Laksa. My husband and i went to katong, wanted to try the so called Best Laksa in Singapore. Also heard that this stall has defeated one of the celebrity chef in a challenge. With... More

This is still my favourite of the Nonya Laksa stalls in Singapore, although with the recent renovations and modernisation of the place it has lost much of its charm. Orders are now placed at a counter and you are given an automatic beeper to alert you when it's time to collect your orders. Laksa is now mass produced I think... More

I have been living in this neighbourhood for about 20 years now, but I haven't gone there in at least 5 years. I recently took some overseas relatives to try the famous Katong Laksa, and boy was I disappointed. As a Katong institution, I hope the owners can re-think the style of business to uphold the standards of Katong Laksa.... More

Boasts of serving the best Laksa in Singapore, something which even Gordon Ramsey of Masterchef fame, agreed. Otak is another interesting appetizer you can try alongwith grilled fish cake smeared with spices and wrapped in a banana leaf. Seating is quite basic as its located on the footpath.

The Laksa here is my favourite in Singapore. The soup is great and coconutty, the prawns and cockles are fresh and the noodles just nice to eat. The gravy they use is not too spicy but you can put a bit more if you want to fire it up. The Otah is always very fresh and has a great curry... More
