I've stayed at Raffles before and loved it. Best breakfast in the world. Today we went for high tea (not staying in the hotel). It was VERY disappointing. It started with the stern door man not letting us in the front door even though we had a booking. Had to go and stand around the side door in the heat... More

My family and I visited the Long Bar to experience a Singapore Sling and we thoroughly enjoyed it. OK its not cheap but the ambience, history and sense of occasion is worth every penny. I last visited this bar as a young merchant navy officer almost four decades ago and it was just as impactive on me this time as... More

The cozy and comfortable bar. The atmosphere was awesome. Pretty expensive as two of the Singapore Sling drinks cost more than 60 euros. It was worth a try, however.

We came here for afternoon tea and it was excellent!!! We come from England and the afternoon tea here was by far better then anything we had at home. The cakes were lovely as we're the sandwiches and the dim sum was exquisite. The staff were lovely as well. We then went to the long bar for a Singapore sling... More

You can't visit Singapore without a trip to Long Bar in Raffles Hotel and trying the famous Singapore Sling. Ask for a demonstration - making a Sling is an art - you get the full experience and a great tasting drink. Really lovely surroundings inside and out. Get a rickshaw ride to/from Raffles to round off the experience.

Most visitors to Singapore have Raffles on their list of things to do. Don,t bother with the Long Bar and the Singapore Slings. Instead go for Afternoon Tea. Nice location and the tea is interesting because it includes hot oriental foods as an option as well as the traditional scones and cakes. All served in a grand salon.

I'm a bar lover but not a cocktail lover. However you can't visit Singapore without a trip to Long Bar in Raffles Hotel and trying the famous Singapore Sling. I would suggest start at the bar and speak to the bar tender, ask for them to demonstrate making a Sling otherwise you will receive a premixed version from the Post-Mix... More

Singapore slings in the Long Bar...a must do! Not cheap, but like stepping back in time. Personally, prefer the courtyard bar. Some fab cocktails, sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Oh dear. I should have known better. Atmosphere like an awful sitcom somewhere in the med. nothing elegant or exotic about the place. Think holiday camp and that would be insulting to a holiday camp. Your singapore sling costs a fortune tastes like something the kids might make in the soda stream and you get charged a fortune for it.... More

The best drink I have ever tasted. Pricy, about 30 singapore dollars. But you also get peanuts for free. Amazing taste.
