Try their pandesal or toast with jam and coffee for breakfast and for lunch or dinner try the tapas or the paella. The staff are friendly and they pay attention to their customers, after a few days of going there for breakfast the staff remembered what I wanted even without me ordering. The main restaurant has a very Spanish feel,... More

Touted as one of the best Spanish restaurants in Boracay, this little restaurant is in a small alley off the main beachfront of Station 1. It's location meant less walk in tourists, so the place wasn't packed even for a Friday evening, which is perfect for us. For a party of 3, we ordered 4 tapas and 1 main to... More

This restaurant has a genuine feel about it! The food is hearty and the favours good and so is the service. The knee jerk reaction is to go for the paella, we didn't. Although the menu says its the house special, I felt that we were rewarded. The dishes were all well executed some a little heavy on the garlic... More

This long term restaurant is an icon on the Island...and a place a recommend to any visiting food lover. Run by Andrew Malarky with a sister restaurant at the Fairwater Resort, Dos Mestizos services excellent Spanish meals in a well laid out and authentic ambience. The paella, tapas and mains were all first rate and a total surprise for the... More

Awesome live music and great tapas. The "Salpicão de Vaca" is to die for. Very useful and friendly service and great ambience.

I don't mind paying for pricey food if what your eating is quality. From the overpriced sangria to the bland blue cheese croquettes( not really a classic Spanish croquette anyway) to the Spanish omelette which was made with boiled potato, which in fact is not a Spanish omelette as they should be thinly sliced and fried with the onions,to the the... My brother loves Spanish food and for his birthday, we decided to have dinner in Dos Mestizos. Most of the restaurants in boracay are very loud, serve cheap buffet food and are full of tourists but this was a hidden gem. It is off a road near Best Western (not beach front) and I had never expected such a restaurant... More

We had some difficulty finding this place, it's in an alley just by the beach. Not a great location but good food though. We didn't try the paella but we had some great tapas: -aged olives (great) -blue cheese croquettes (nice) -garlic shrimp (great) -bread with salsa and pesto ( this is not pesto) - calamari (pretty good) - mussels... Had an amazing "last night" dinner at Dos Mestizos. The paella is a must however, everything is so good its hard to say just to have the paella. Loved the small band playing in the bar area and the bartenders definitely know their way around sangria!
