Ok, the food here is both good and innovative, but can't say the same for the service. On our one visit for dinner here my girl friend did not want wine. So I requested a glass of white wine instead. Halfway through dinner I requested a second glass, but was told in no uncertain terms that I could not have... More

I was looking forward to eating at the Alchemy but have to say we were not really impressed with the food, it seems to be very hit and miss. We arrived without a reservation but this wasn't a problem as we were the only ones there, we asked if my husband could have the 6 course tasting menu and the... More

I first tried Alchemy in Feb 2012 and was very pleased with the food. So much so that it was top of my list of places to dine this time. I wish I hadn't bothered. The four dishes we ordered read well on the menu, and in terms of flavour, came close. But the execution was amateur, probably because the... More

Food was good but expensive. We were the only diners sitting on the beach - initially we were shown to a table for 4 with dirty tablecloths and moved (ourselves) to another table. Service was intermittent - being away from the main restaurant seemed to cause the staff to forget we were there. Not one I would whole-heatedly recommend.

Cozy restaurant on the beach, White Beach station 1. We had very good meal, maybe the prices are higher than average but still affordable. The portions indeed small but very special choices. The service was also very good. No credit card payment allowed but it's written also on the menu.

Fantastic food (we had squid, then lapu lapu fillet and linguine) and good prices although not a cheap option (about 400 pesos for a main course). Also served decent wine which as a non-beer drinker is important to me! Great location on the beach, and very good service. I just wish the portions were a little larger as the food... More

We did the New Years Eve tasting menu and it was amazing. Like eating at a nice restaurant in Europe or the states- great variety, preparation, quality etc. The pork belly was rediculous. Tables right on the beach as well. An upsacle oasis on white beach.

We had our best meal in Boracay at Alchemy. I had a fish dish (ma hi mahi with some type of cabbage concoction) and it was really, really good. Don't be influenced by how empty the restaurant is. Given how good our food tasted, we were surprised that the place wasn't packed.
