The view from Rima is spectacular. The service is excellent. The food is average. The price is much too high. A bottle of water is $10 US. I had a ragu pasta and it was fairly good but nothing extraordinary. They should start by making their guests feel like they are not going to be fleeced. Its a little like... More

I live in Boracay and I like to eat in Shangrila at times, especially when I feel like having a quiet or a romantic meal. It's been a while since my last visit at Rima (a couple of years at least), as I prefer to eat in Cielo or Vintana, and so this May I decided to pay a visit... More

I had the privilege of dinning here early last year. The food was superb. Great wine selection. Great service. The staff were always smiling, that is a plus. Great ambient and beautiful views.

On our last night at the Shang in Boracay we wanted to have dinner at their signature Italian restaurant. First of all the setting, high in the hills overlooking the sea, is spectacular. The service was also on pare with what one would expect for a medium to medium high end restaurant. But unfortunately, one cannot not say the same... More

We had the best food we had on the whole island here. Tip: get there before sunset because once it's dark you can't see much of the amazing view.

Sharing an excellent meal in the treetops under the stars with a view of the sea, that is what you will get at Rima. The food is creative and unique. The portions are generous with out being too much. The service was exceptional. We ate there twice during our stay at the Shangri-La. The pastas and pizza were fresh and... More

The tree top setting is spectacular, and the service is impeccable. The food was very good, but not quite excellent. And perhaps I just missed it, but their website describes the food as "creative." I was surprised to find it was Italian... And predictable Italian at that.

You have to try the gnocchi ..:. Not only are the views excellent.... So to is the service, quality of food and selection but even the wine list is unbelievable. A must visit for the traveller who isn't in a budget and enjoys quality. In regards to price... It is not that much more than the western restaurants in station... More

The location of the restaurant is at the highest point of the resort, the view and atmosphere was magnificent, very romantic for a special occasion and the food is very Italian. We stayed at the Shangri-la this week and dined twice at Rima. If you are staying in a treehouse or loft villa, it is up on the side of the hill and an easy walk from your villa. The restaurant is high up above the resort, giving a great view and a fun experience amongst the trees. At night time... More
