Terrible food and terrible service. I apparently have to write 100 words in this review but have nothing else to say other than never again!

Especially if you're a Tolkein fan. The restaurant is made to look sort of like a Hobbit house with curved entryways and a sort of mix between English & Irish decorations. The "smallest waiters" certainly holds true and the idea of only employing "little people" doesn't bother us ... if that idea does bother you, stay away. The drinks at... More

The meals there are very good totally recommend the steak also l found it a great place to drink and get a bit drunk well actually a lot drunk but that was because its just a fantastic place to... I think this venue is exploiting people. The Hobbit house is staffed with "little people" which is believe is the politically correct term. I understand the theory but do not agree with its concept.

We just arrived in Boracay on a wet wet day. We had to do some shopping for the apartment and thus went down to Dmall. Craving for a cold drink we entered the Hobbit House without noticing the waiters, just the live music. We straightaway felt uneasy. I know that those guys have a job but it's like being in... More

Not a single nice thing to say about this experience and I was giving the Bervie another try. .. Its finest asset is that its location is next to rumbars... normal pub food served with a smile

Half priced cocktails started the night nicely. Main reason we went there is because had been recommended 'chicken adobo' - a Philippine dish and they were the restaurant where we found it. Mix chicken and pork - delicious but the real star was the beef dish. Great cut of meat and delicious. Served with rice. Staff super friendly and relaxed.... More

We first went for the half price drinks at happy hour but the staff were so pleasant and accommodating that we stayed for dinner. I observed the staff being very polite to people walking past who wanted their pictures taken with them & I thought that despite the fact that it is an intrusion they were happy to oblige even... The restaurant was unique with their smallest service crew. The lady who served us was very nice with a ready smile in her face which was not observed with other waiters. Maybe it was the warm weather? My husband ordered blue marlin steak which was good but my order of tenderloin steak was average. I won't recommend it and instead... More
