Hard to find but nice

I was GRANDPAcking in PP for 8 nights and popped in here for a couple of beers one night. As you go down the road / track to it you wonder if you have made the right turn... But, yes, you have... At the end is the Tom Tom... it is a pleasant little bar with a nice atmosphere. When... read more

I search tomtom restaurant because I like to eat some currywurst and leafy salad, but had hardtime finding the place, thanks to the tricycle driver. Oh, the place is surprisingly amazing, cozy and i felt like i got to mom's home. I love the place, the food, the hospitality and the drinks. I enjoyed the live music and they let... More

I met Tom and Annalyn 10 years ago, so I had been dining in their restaurant and so I know how it's been legendary and cozy to be there. If you haven't dine or drinks in TomTom, it feels you missed half of your greatest opportunities to enjoy Palawan. They have great range of drinks choices and mixes. Their food... More

I dine in TomTom restaurant recently and had enjoyed schnitzel. I also enjoyed our dinner listening to good music. The place is so sweet with enchanting tropical garden, lighted with green and blue. I love the natural motiff of the restaurant and bar, decorated with plant and rustic interior details. I wish I could go back nightly. Also the waitresses... More

Local institution with good food, been around for years. Great range of drinks and food. Off the beaten track a little but easy enough to find with a local trike rider. Meet a few of the long expat locals.

Looking forward to a couple of steaks, what arrived at our table was so tough, it was inedible. Returned to kitchen with understanding it would be replaced. Reappeared, the same pieces of meat, cut up, just as inedible. We did not pay. Staff lamely blamed their meat supplier - clearly they served the food knowingly! Person who we understood to... More

I know August is not the peak season here, so I'm not surprised that we were the only guests. What did surprised is that all the dishes ordered came out very, very poor. From simple side dishes (fries/garlic bread) to seafood (shrimp) and beef.. All very tasteless and most-likely not fresh.. The German owner was also in rare form, shouting... More

Monday night is Live music night - and if you fancy a local rock band go along. The company you find at the bar is likely to be European and probably in 60+ age range but that isn't to say it's a retirement home. There's San Miguel on draught which suited us a lot better than the bottles, which seem... More

First thing - it's not where tripadvisor or Google Maps says it is. its off a little sideroad, a tiny bit east of the junction of A. Rengel Rd and Manalo Street. All the tricycle drivers should know where it is though. Had the steak, which was fairly decent and service was great - very attentive. Much quieter there than... More
