Accessible location, above average food, unique ambience, nice staff, clean restrooms... totally worth the bucks!

KaLui is one of the most popular restaurant in Palawan. The place is actually a Seafood Restaurant and is absolutely gorgeous. It gives a fantastic atmosphere but for you to get a table, you must make advance reservation or else you have to wait for an hour because the place is always full! they always served fresh sea weeds as... We ate at Kalui two times. The first time we had the fixed menu, which is amazing value for money, A lot of food, superfresh seafood and fish, lovely fruit shakes and a nice desert. A la carte is also great, try the Kang Kong (sort of water spinach) and the seafood tempura.

KaLui is one of the most reputable restaurant in Palawan. The place is absolutely gorgeous, no doubt about it. It gives a fantastic atmosphere. First, I think it is important to remind that it is a seafood restaurant. We were fortunate to get a table for two without reservation. The place was full! Unfortunately, I was less than convinced by... More

This restaurant is a box office hit when we ate here. You need to make a reservation to have a table, if you don't have a reservation you have to wait an hour or more to be seated (like what happened to us...) Food is nice but not that special. Ambiance is very nice, walls are decorated with kawayan.

the menu and place is excellent but I suggest put at least one or two meat on your menu so my husband and my son are not eating just for me. I'm sure they are not the only meat lovers that came into your restaurant.

first off - their food was well cooked and good. the ambience of the place was nice too and their staff was friendly. but the flavours and the freshness of their seafood pales in comparison with everything else i ate in Palawan. i really don't think they deserve the reputation they have garnered. it was very hard to secure a... Worth going to for the atmosphere and food. Food and drinks were fresh and wonderful and the presentation of the meal attractive. I was disappointed that we did not make a reservation in advance, but we were lucky to get a table within 10 minutes. The design is Filipino and modern design using bamboo, matting, rattan, shells, wood, colourful artwork,... More

The best thing about this place is the ambiance and unique yet beautiful interiors. You have to deposit your footwear and go barefoot which was alright when eating but not in the toilet. The food choices were local and delicious. You need to have a reservation or you will be in for a long wait.
