Palawan salad

I read a few bad comments here in trip advisor and went anyway to kalui due to friends recommendations. The place was unexpectedly exceptional. Food was great and the ambiance phenomenal. If i could recommend a menu item itd be the palawan salad. Thats the money shot right there.

I've been in Puerto Princesa twice now and can't help myself to visit this place before departing Palawan. Reservation is a must as it get jam-packed every evening. Food still amazing! They have more arts and handicrafts diplayed now than the last time went here. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Came here to take pictures of the place. This restaurant features a lot of paintings and/or photographs. Food wasn't all too bad for the price. I've been told that one needs to book a reservation in advance for the evening, but can be visited as walk-in during the day.

Like majority of dining places in Puerto, this place is non air-conditioned yet it is quite cool inside. The interior is pretty (oh, and no shoes allowed inside the dining area). I think we were served the "Kalui Special of the Day Set" (sponsored dinner, so I'm not really sure; just saw the menu later on). Anyway, we had "lato"... More

The place looks really cool, a lot of character to it. The food is ok, healthy but basic. Would be nice to see some traditional filipino dishes that bring back a good reputation to filipino food.

This place is really nice! Im sure when we go back to puerto princesa we will dine here again! The food is irresistably good, tubbtaha salad, tuna, crabs, and their signature sinigang na tuna with coconut juice! Its a little bit pricey tho but its worth it! The place is so clean, we have kids who crawl and roll over... More

Nice interior. However food was nothing spectacular. But the concept of combining zen-like elements in their resto so that the place looked really relaxing and eco friendly plus fresh seafood in their menu was good.

the design and style is not unique but i love it, very filipino and relaxing environment. there are tables with chairs and some where you will seat on floor , its mostly japanese style i think, and that gives me lot of itchyness on whatever is that im sitting on. the food are good but a bit expensive.

A must visit whenever one is Puerto Princessa. The owner, Lui has decorated the place with a great eye from his travels. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also used to decorate the interior. food is just as good. Try their salad with seaweed. Always fresh. Recommend to call or make a reservation as we could not find a table our... More

Kalui is somewhat interesting especially that it has good ratings and review. Indeed it has stylish and charming ambiance but maybe, due to the fact that it always has full reservation, staff are quite fast-paced. Staff are not quite so attentive- probably due to the pressure. They were kind enough though. Went to celebrate my sister's birthday and came with... More
