Great view, great food

I give it the full 5 stars as the view is spectacular. Food very good too, though expensive for some, at €8 for main dish. Philiipino cuisine, very nicely cooked, godd service. Full bar, part of Cadlao resort, but you will not have the feeling you eat in a resort restaurant. Just out of town, nice... read more

We stayed in a handful of resorts in the area while on our trip to the Philippines. This was by far our favorite place. A little north of the hustle of El Nido town, but not a problem since booking day tours through Cadlao is easy and recommended. Their boats were in great shape and never packed. Cadlao also owns... The food here is so exquitely islander and tropical. The ingredients are very fresh too, especially the seafood dishes. Amazing flavours. The view of the archipelago from this hotel is really cool. It's paradise.

My cousins and i checked this place out after walking for an hour in search for lobster [lobster was scarce during our visit because of the typhoon].. we had kinilaw na tanigue for appetizer and it was just perfect! their grilled squid and grilled tanigue was also delicious. We tried their lobster cooked in butter and garlic, it was very... More

We stayed at Cadlao Island Resort for three nights and enjoyed each of the complimentary, a la carte breakfasts at the beach-front, Filipino-designed, open-air restaurant. The views to Cadlao Island are breathtaking. Once you've caught your breath, you can't but smile and feel happy and, almost delirious, sitting in this breezy restaurant just looking out! Then, a smiling staff member... More

Staff were very friendly and professional - really go the extra mile for their guests - For example we were leaving the hotel very early in the morning and the hotel arranged for breakfast to be prepared early especially for us... as promised breakfast was on the table promptly. I thought this was fantastic service. Pool area looks fantastic and... More

Drop in dinner on the beach. Fish of the day was the best I have ever had. Large portion and really attentive staff. Did not stay at the resort, but it looks really welcoming. The restaurant is a must visit. Cost a little extra compared to the city's restaurants, but is more than worthwhile!!

Had a lovely meal here and although it's probably the most expensive place it was lovely. Location in the next bay from El Nido, just around the corner from Makulay.

When travelling to the Philippines, you have to remember where you are. People are very nice and helpful but maybe not always very rigorous nor organised. If you are ready for that, this place is great. View on the bay is outstanding. Bungalows (especially the new ones) are clean and spacious. Food is also very good and served much quicker... More

There really is not much in El Nido that would appeal to me for eating. I don't mind at all whether it is street of Michelin class as long as it's clean and tatsy. Cadlao is for sure one of the better restaurants in the barren desert for eating of El Nido. There are very few restaurants indeed of this... More
