You can taste the LOVE in the food and juices prepared by the staff! There is nothing I disliked about the Sunset Aninuan. They took care of every thing I needed.

Loved the service, rooms were a little basic but had all the facilities expected. Menu was abit limited.

Depending on your palate, in 10 trials, you might hit 7 on the spot. Must try: Pizzas. They're perfectly baked and served with fresh garlic. We commend the resort, bar and restaurant for having the in-house guests only policy. Yes, a disadvantage to others who aren't staying in the resort but a great luxury and advantage to people who chose... More

We ordered filet mignon medium rare: it took forever to come and when it did, it was dry, chewy and well-done. Also, we tried posing for pictures on their hammocks and sunbeds and were told that they were only reserved for guests of the hotel (it was 8 P:M. and there were the 3 of us from the Tamaraw and... Have stayed here before, had a great time, and my workplace has a long history of using this resort but was very disappointed this weekend. Despite being 80% empty, despite being known to the owner (at one table with her friends) and known to two of the three other families in the restaurant and invited to join them, Sunset would... The restaurant at Sunset is not very good. You get food and there is nothing wrong, but also no finess at all. Still you sit beach front fantastic view so if you do not have an expectation on the meal, you still can have a nice lunch or dinner.

Most of the food is well above average. The views and the service is the best in Puerto Galera. The restaurant is for resort customer only and will usually on allow visitors if they are not busy.

I went expecting reasonable food and was very disappointed. It was a pity because the setting is wonderful and the staff do their best. Maybe the chef is temporary.
