This place consistently serves up some of the best gudeg you can find in Java. Never have had a bad meal there and the place is often full of happy customers.
I wasn't a big fan of Gudeg, but what can i say? this is the best gudeg i've tried so far. I'm a pescetarian, so i only chose marinated tofu as a side dish and as a result i only spent for about IDR 15.000! Definitely would come back to eat gudeg here!
We loved the sweet, spicy local taste of the gudag, a Yogjakarta speciality. Highly recommend this unique and local experience. We were stuffed for about $3 each.
Was looking for a nice gudeg dinner and my local driver suggested this one. The price is reasonable compared to other eating places in Yogyakarta. The food was good. The Sambal Goreng was a bit spicy but it's really good. Try the Bubur (porridge) instead of the Nasi (rice) if it's still available.

Nice taste. With a bit of coconut milk in the sauce. We took some for take away. So we did not really experience the facility of the restaurant. But they do provide boxes for take aways. Very convenient and affordable. A must for the unique taste of yogyakarta.

We had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant as it wasn't well known and tourists don't often ask for directions to this local food hangout. It was worth the trouble finding the place as my favorite thing to do while traveling is to find local food hangouts. We enjoyed people watching and ordered the local favorite, Gudeg, which was...
