Milas is one of my favorite restaurants in Yogyakarta. The food is really good and also very special. I also love the drinks there, especially the juices. However, it takes quite a while until the food arrives.

Love the garden location out of the hustle and bustle of Jogja...great social enterprise making fabulous vegetarian food...Try all the Indonesian favourites you normally miss veggie style...Delicious juices, huge variety of choices. We usually come for a few hours and write, read and eat till we can't eat any more. In a city full of fried chicken and MSG this... More

The restaurant is in a quiet street, you have to search for it. The interieur is amazing! You have normal tables or tables where you have to sit on the ground in a bamboo hut. The food was sooo great! We loved everything about it! Everything is very cheap and the staff is also nice. We would recommend it to... More

Just one thing to say: Wauw! The food was ultra fresh, organic and delicious. The waiters are very friendly and the outdoor sitting wonderful. There is a little shop offering a good choice of local organic products and handcrafted goods . This place, managed by a little community, is a little haven in the middle of the city!

You can't fault the setting and atmosphere but some of the food was delicious whilst other dishes were inedible (tasted of soap, couldn't finish it). A bit pricey and overhyped altogether. We had better food elsewhee.

This is very nice peaceful place, where you can go to talk with your friends, or just take read a book there. They have very tasty dishes and drinks. But in my opinion, this place is little overpriced.

I went with dubious expectations... it is in the heart of the tourist zone and often highly recommended places disappoint. This did not. First of all, the tripadvisor map location is WRONG. It shows it on Prawirotaman 1 and it's on Prawirotaman 4. It is not far from Prawirotaman 1 (the Main Street with all the hotels) Just walk south... More

They could really put up some signs, we had to look for 1 hour till we found it. What we found were 2 other people searching for that restaurant. The garden was nice and there finally was a big choice for vegetarians. The servings were even smaller than in other places, the service was like at fast food places (to... More

Based on the previous reviews, I was already quite excited to visit Milas. I found vegetarian food to be sorely lacking in diversity in Bali, so it was thrilling to have such a huge menu to consider. Definitely make a reservation. We were so relieved we had, as there were no tables available when we arrived at around 8PM. The... More
