While I appreciate the menu creativity, the taste was just meh. Not using MSG is no excuse for bland food! I liked their ice cream, though. Esp the cinnamon one, although the cinnamon taste was very strong it bordered on medicinal. Also try Kopi Milas. It's like liquid dessert. Yummy. Service was also slow, somewhat indifferent. Had to ask waiter... More

As vegetarians we really wanted this restaurant food to be delicious, but after 2 visits and ordering several different dishes we concluded it wasn't really that good. Curries were bland and watery and not spicy..such a disappointment. However, I would still give this restaurant an amazing review because of the atmosphere at night and the lovely shop with really inexpensive... More

We are vegetarians and we loved this place. Ambience alone is worth 5 stars and then a $20 bill for loads of great food and drink helps.

We loved this place so much, we went back again the next night! The first night, we arrived around 8pm, and all of the tables were taken, but on the second night we were able to get a table right away. It’s worth making a reservation if you are really keen to eat here. The restaurant is placed around a... More

We had dinner at Milas this week for a second time (in two years). The atmosphere is very refreshing, set in a garden, a nice green concept, but we felt the food was a little disappointing this time. The eggplant dish was delicious but the tahu/tofu in a tomato sauce was neither east nor west. Perhaps it was a bad... More

We're so glad we found this place and ate there twice! Beautiful setting, wonderful food, very fair prices, and a great gift shop, too. Don't miss it!

I'm not a vegetarian (my wife is) but I still LOVED this restaurant. The food was fantastic, fast and a great value. My raving may make this review sound fake, but I assure you--the place is wonderful! It's worth coming from anywhere else in Jogja to eat at this restaurant (opens at 3pm).

Milas is definitely one of the best in terms of ambience, it's very serene with a scenic outdoor seating. Most of the visitors are foreigners, they also have a small library and crafts store. There are a lot of variety of foods (all vegetarians) but since I'm not a big fan of vegetarian foods, I find it just average although... More

Very good vegetarian and organic food for a very reasonable price. A salad, a main and a drink were 50k. It has a very nice setting in a garden and nice music, very relaxing!
