it's so popular here, just come before they run out of the duck. it has so many branches in jogja and central java. bebek (duck) served with rice, lalapan (fresh veggies) and good taste-sambal. i prefer juicy fried duck, so i give them average rating because the duck tend to too crispy. it makes me couldnt taste "very bebek-taste"

This is a very popular joint among Indonesians especially during lunch time. Come before mid day or early afternoon. Sometimes the place might be closed when they run out of bebek (duck). Have fried duck breast or thighs and don't let anyone to disturb you with stories about high cholesterol ... Selamat makan!

from many duck available, by far this Bebek Slamet is best to my & family's taste... we prefer the crispy ones... and not only in Jogja, whenever we travel around Central java, and want a taste guarantee, then we try to find bebek slamet... very hot & delicious!

This restaurant is Indonesia's version of the famous "Chicken Inasal" in Manila. The difference: it ain't chicken, it's duck! Served with a bunch of veggies, a cup of rice, and heaps of sambal, this dish is the perfect ending to a long day of walking around temples! We left with super full and happy tummies!

fried duck with super super super hot sambal, beware! if you're not really a fan of spicy food, try to mix the sambal with some drips of sweet soy sauce

I know that fried duck and sambal kosek is a good combination, but the meat is a bit chewy, dont you think? I always am in love with fried ducks, but I think the taste in this warung is not really special. The meat smells raw to me, still. I prefer it to be tender, but crispy. The sambal is... More

I always like Bebek Hj Slamet, either in Jakarta, Bandung or Balikpapan. The fried duck (with hot sambal) is very good & taste better than chicken. For some reason, I found the bebek in Jogja is smaller portion, slightly chewy instead of tender & crispy. Maybe due to shortage of duck supply during this time. The ambience is just average,...
