Original Indonesian cuisine served in modern ways. Most of the portion are small but they have wide range of food selections. Great for expatriate who want to taste Indonesian food exclusively

Service level is quite good and surrounding is quaint but spacious . Went there for dinner and almost filled with patrons but didn't feel crowded. Good taste not bad and quality is ok. However, I would say this place is not cheap but should try if not been there.

Ooookay so..... I don't know if it's me or it's the place but aside from being very spacious (which is great if you are holding an event), the price really bugs me. For food that tastes as average as that, I personally think it is slightly overpriced. The place itself is overwhelming. Well-lit, quiet, well decorated and has separate rooms... More

indonesian food in fancy, expensive restourants/hotels are often disappointing. they just taste "cold", odd, even tasteless and lose the warmth of indonesian authentic spices. but not for this place! each food tastes "so indonesian". i love the beef balado--the red chilli of this balado really fit on indonesian tounge. the spicy soup is fantastic!yet hot, spicy and fresh. and what... I went there for a business lunch and was happy with the choice. Being a vegetarian, I did manage to get a few vegetarian choices. The ambience is good and the staff attentive. If you want to try out local cuisine and are a vegetarian this is a good option.

Got sticker in the jam and decided to get out of the car for dinner since we read great reviews about it. We were so glad as the food and service are just great and impeccable. Atmosphere is very colonial and relax, the area is an oasis amid the bustling and jam packed city. Must go place for great Indonesian... More

Jakarta is blessed with a number of atmospheric, beautifully decorated restaurants that reference the country's Dutch colonial history. They normally serve rijstaffel (a colonial european, sanitised, insipid interpretation of regional how Indonesian cuisine should be prepared and presented that tends to appeal to florid visitors that rue the passing of the good old days) - go easy on the chilli... We've been to this restaurant several times with family, friends & business associates over the years & it's never disappointed, until today. The place was packed, service was good but our regular favorite dishes just tasted bad, period! When we inquired later, we learned the regular chefs were on Ramadhan/Lebaran vacation & the restaurant rotated some of the cooks to... More

I had to come back to this restaurant, loved the ambiance, food, service, although price is a bit high. If you happens to be in town (Jakarta) and around Thamrin Street, this restaurant located behind Plaza Sentral Building not too far from McDonald's and a parking lots. This restaurant would have earned 5 stars if price is cheaper, regardless, definitely... More
