Delicious Ribs and Ice cream cempedak

Nice Indonesian fine dining experience. The food was delicious. My recommendation is to go for their ribs and ice cream cempedak. The traffic to get there is usually horrible because of the MRT construction. Book in advance and plan well.

Kembang Goela looks extremely unimpressive from the outside, hidden as it is in the back of the parking lot of an office complex. However, once inside, you feel like you have been transported back in time to a colonial-era bungalow. Unusually for a restaurant serving Indonesian food, it's white tablecloth, silver service. On this particular occasion it was a Saturday... More

I was invited by a foreign delegation for dinner today, Monday 8-6-2015. It ended 9PM and I requested a taxi. Then I saw that there was a foreigner asking for a taxi after me but they gave him the first taxi arriving. Then I waited until 9.15 and they told me to wait. I asked again 9.30 and they said... The place has great interior design, looks like an old Jakarta building which was heavily influenced by the Netherlands architecture. Food also great. Must try are the dendeng balado, which is a beef jerky, sliced so thin it's almost translucent. Next is, Sosis Yance, which is a 1 metre sausage. They serve it with a nice mustard sauce. The Kopyor... More

The food at this restaurant was very tasty. Staff were attentive and happy to give recommendations. They have great, mixed fruity drinks.

Even it came in a relatively small portion of foods, but each dishes tastes great. There are many traditional drink and dessert. Try the one with kawista syrup.

the lunch didn't start well. we reserved a table well in advance, specifically asking for a table close to a power point since someone in our party is going to make a presentation. we came to a quite empty restaurant, only about 2 - 3 tables occupied, but were given a table nowhere near a power point. the staff were...
