I have been here twice and I will always and definitely come back. The food is definitely amazing. I gave myself second helpings. The one thing which anyone should come back for is their very spicy and hot, sambal belacan and this is only for someone who loves the pain of spiciness. The staff is good and friendly and the... We ate there everytime we visit Jkt...fantastic food at reasonable price. The meal for 4 of us cost about Rp600K with a few beers..We had 2x prawns, 2 gurami koreng, tauhu, 2 vege, 2 ayam panggang and cumi cumi bakar...The gurami is great as usual so are the ayam and tauhu...The restaurant is only a short walk from our hotel..Alila.

This place is very suitable for a family dinner and it's very famous among Jakarta families. The food taste was good and it has an authentic Sundanese Food taste. If you one of a spicy lover, you should try their sambal, it's really-really show the Sundanese taste. But you should be able to takes your time while waiting your foods... More

Their deep-fried gourami "flying fish" and seafood-stuffed beancurd were tasty, but my favourite dishes were the deep-fried battered calamari and the sayur asem (tamarind vegetable soup). This restaurant is popular with both locals and tourists, and justifiably so. I would return if I am in Jakarta again.

Eaten here several times over the years, the quality has consistently been good. Price is also reasonable. Service is very good even when crowded. I typically order Gurame Goreng Kering, Kerodok Salad, Sayur Asam Soup, Udang Galah Bakar, Rice and Cucumber Juice. Generally speaking many of the restaurants and outlets on the peconongan area are very good. It is known... More

Always visit this long time favorite of locals and visitors. Be sure to order the seafood tahu - fried tofu stuffed with shrimp and veggies. Very good. Seafood lumpia is also nice (long spring rolls stuffed with shrimp etc). A must have is the deep fried Gurame. BBQ version is also nice. But the 'piece de ristance' if you'll pardon... More

The restaurant has been around for a long time, and they do not have any branch/franchising deals, which is a good sign that they are serious about their commitment in quality control. I would describe it a combination of Sundanese - Chinese seafood restaurant because they serve the best crispy friend butterfly-ed Gurame, perfectly paired with Sayur Asem or Karedok,... More

Getting there might be a hassle during peak periods but the food is always good. Ambience is kind of lacking but it is made up by value for money dishes which are deliciously local with a wide variety.
