Good Italian food in the heart of Jakarta

Strategically located in the middle of the city, PEPeNERO has a simple yet beautiful setting with glass roof and walls. We placed a reservation for dinner on Saturday Night and found that it is not really necessary because it is still quiet at around 7pm, but starting to be more crowded after... read more

Me and my husband used to enjoy having lunch/dinner in this restaurant, we used to have it at Menara Karya. Then Pepenero open their branch at The Energy/Graha Niaga Building, we were so excited knowing our fav resto has opened in his office. I tried my regulars (pastas and pizzas), and they were terrible (both taste and servings), the appetizers... More

I was somewhat shocked to read the reviews of Pepenero; so much so I wondered if it was the same restaurant I'd been enjoying for the last few years. To find out, I made a point of visiting the Kuningan restaurant early on a Sunday evening. There were few patrons, which wasn't terribly surprising. The staff were still as lovely... More

I ordered the dory cooked in lemon and butter, it came deep friend, with a very oily aftertaste. Not right to serve something described differently from the menu.

This place used to be our family favorite restourant, my two little kids and my wife used to love this place. We literally went here twice a month. Over time, the service from really excellent to very bad. They cut down on the serving bread, took out the burschetta off as an appetizer and the worst was they eliminated the... More

We've been in the past and it was great. Sadly, when we came for a friend"s birthday, service was slow and inattentive, food was underseasoned, just so meh.

We were waiting 2 hours and still not completed for our menus. Our guest from France and US were asking to going out and canceled all the orders, even one of my colleague already ate the Bakso Senayan beside the restaurant and came back waiting for steak of this Italian resto. Will not recommend this reaturant when you bring guest... More

I was there for lunch on saturday with my gf. We were the first customer, ordered salmon carpaccio, pasta mare (sth with rose sauce) and zuchini ai fungi (this one is free due to promo). I ate here before, but the service was not this bad before...the waitress was not attentive at all (even though we were the first customer).... More

Pondok Indah branch. While the staff were good natured they were totally overwhelmed. It took forever to get the food and then when it did come...everything came at once and then more. My Chitarra Al Nero looked like it had been dumped on the plate, but the taste was OK. My 4 Formaggi pizza was again OK. Don't think I... More
