This is one of my favourite restaurants in Jakarta. Not only is the food consistently fresh & delicious, I love the decor - a wonderfully funny eclectic mix of collections: Indonesian masks, hats, antiques motor bikes, pool toys, etc. etc. etc. Every time I go I discover a collection I had not seen before. HINT - take insect repellant.

I always like the atmosphere of this place, its not a fancy posh place, a kind of place that once you step your foot in, you will feel at home The architecture and ambience is very unique, for a while i thought I'm not in jakarta, kinda feel like hanging out in the corner of Jogjakarta. The food was ok,... More

Found this place by a reference of my friend and it was just an awesome and authentic Javanese restaurant. I really like the tempe mendoan, it is the best so far I ever had! A nice place have dinner with family as well as to hang out with friends. The indoor-outdoor concept with many trees is truly unique in the... More

Spicy yes, but they have other menus for you with non-spicy tongues! Like the mendoan for example. My favorite place to eat, sometimes for three nights in a row. The menu fits me very well, and its strategic location is easy to approach. Their new mie godok menu make me comes back even more often.

We visit this place several times for lunch due to proximity from our office. The place is a bit hard to find, and hard to park (in the residential complex). Very unique decoration, they mixed everything up in their collection displays which makes it a bit dizzy and odd (some are creepy I must say). They served free welcome drinks:... More

I ordered (I forgot the name), it's chicken baked with chili and the taste is ssooo spicy but delicious. I also ordered red rice, traditional soup, ice tea, and another meal from chicken too (I don't know the name, because I only picked the food what my eyes and my brain want my-mouth-to-eat). Lol. The atmosphere in this restaurant quite... More

This place is definitely famous for their spicy food and 'sambal'. But I would still rate this place with 5 though I don't eat spicy. This place is just humble yet beautiful, something that is so refreshing in a city that full of either flashy dining or street food (which at times can be unfriendly to non local). They serve...
