Outstanding Middle Eastern Cuisine served as a great experience!

My first time, with party of eleven very demanding and hungry Indonesian and expatriate kids! Beautiful ambience, themed down to the colors worn by all staff and even the Proprietor, Yanti, who was most gracious when we met her at the end of our experience... And what an experience it was... read more

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were disappointed in that with a reservation we were seated at a table that was separated by about 24" from a table for a family seating. So we had to wait to be seated at a more quiet table but in the smoking section of the restaurant.

The ambience is very nice, with many authentic Turkey decoration. Better to dress formal, as people dine here wear their lovely dress/suit. The bread and hummus are really good. We ordered so many food ; all kebabs from lamb, chicken, beef, to baklava as desser. Everything is terrific. I went to Turkey few months before and I didn't really like... More

We had dinner here and it was one of the most wonderful dining experiences I had in Jakrta. The food is excellent, cooked and served in authentic turkish style. The metzeh was a wonderful appetizer (wirh lamb and humus, and babaganoush as my favourite). We ordered lamb shank which was a huge portion, but succulent and the meat just fell... More

During my visit to Jakarta after a gap of more than 18 months, I was recommended to try a few places. One of them happened to be a Turkish restaurant in Gunawarman. The restaurant gives a nice "Turkish Bazaar" look with a special counter for the sweets, they also sell carpets ( not sure Turkish, Persian or just the regular synthetic... More

A great ambiance and an interesting menu led to a most enjoyable lunch, flavoursome without being heavy. The bread was a dream. Can't wait for the opportunity to go back, but I will have to to make it dinner next time, and take a bigger appetite. The only regret was that ice cream was 'off'.

I always need to go with someone who knows what they're ordering as I am know very little about Turkish food, but I am always pleased with the outcome. A good place to go with a crowd as it's fun to share the food. I found the lamb shanks too much after so many delicious dips.

Ordered mezze platter for 2 pax, Two main courses: lamb and vegetarian, 3 balaclavas, and a couple of drinks. Cost was around USD60-70 Mezze and the dips were good. But the lamb shank was a bit dry and lacked gravy or sauces or even its natural jus Good ambience with old black and white photos. Also, there is shisha smoking... More

When you craving a good turkish food, then this is the place to be. Ayran, lahmacun, kebabs, and the deserts, are yummy, almost the same taste like the original one in turkey. The other plus is the place, many turkish stuff for the decoration, comfortable, and good service. Totally a place you don't want to miss.

When there a bit late at night after a function to have light supper. We ordered Mezze Plate and the hummus and borek were good but the salad not tasty and the babagamush too spicy. The bill was a bit pricey.
