Nice restaurant

The restaurant is classic and antique, the food is delicious but we have to wait a bit longer. We ordered soto betawi, asem iga , nasi liwet and nasi tegal. Delicious. We really enjoyed the food and place. If you come to the raden saleh area, you should visit this restaurant...

The place is located a little bit off the center in a rather residential area. Upon entering, traditional (I believe Balinese) music is played and quite noisy. In the reception hall it becomes clear who was here already as they are proud to diplay photos of Angela Merkel and President SBY and several other state heads patronizing the place. They... More

I have a weakness for places whose colonial past is all too evident. In Jakarta last week, I had a choice between Cafe Batavia and Oasis. The former is probably one of the best-looking bar and restaurant of the world, the latter too is beautiful, but less so. I choce Oasis because I had never eaten the Rijsttafel ever since... More

Classic restaurant located in a beautiful Dutch colonial era mansion built in 1928. The staff is proud of this facility and if you ask nicely they may show you around the mansion. As you enter, a gong is sounded and you are greeted with traditional Indonesian music on instruments that you would usually see in a Gamelan ensemble during a... More

For mature (aka older generation) visitors to Jakarta. No fussy and pretentious, easy to reserve and great musicians entertaining the food.

We came here because the address was on our city map. When we entered, we were overwhelmingly welcomed by ten people. The fact that the rest of the place was empty made us feel a bit uncomfortable, just too many staff around us. We paid about 20 euros for a glass of wine, and beers were very expensive as well.... Is a restaurant that can represent/ showcase the rich of indonesian cuisine. We always bring our foreign friends to Oasis. The food is ok but the experience will not fail you from entertaining your guest. Try the 'Rijstaffel' where you can taste a bit of everything , parade and served by beautiful indonesian ladies. Ps: I do no why i... More

Oasis offers a very authentic Indonesian Hospitality from cuisine, presentation, ambience to service. If you are looking for a fine dining authentic Indonesian food, this is it. As a local, I have never had such dining experience before. This is a great place to have your special occasion, celebration, or any other special moment.

This is one of the top class and very expensive restaurant in Jakarta. However, the food quality and the service are not up to the money that you pay. This ethnic colonial ambience is what most people come to the restaurant for.

I have only positive to say about my experience at Oasis. We were greeted by music at the entrance and the kind Mr O`om showed us around and explained well. We felt so welcome by everyone. Thanks also to Mr Dodo (sorry if I spelled that wrong). The wall of pictures of former head of states and other celebs were... More
