Everything was fantastic

I have only positive to say about my experience at Oasis. We were greeted by music at the entrance and the kind Mr O`om showed us around and explained well. We felt so welcome by everyone. Thanks also to Mr Dodo (sorry if I spelled that wrong). The wall of pictures of former head of states and... read more

I don't care what anyone says, this for me is still the must-go place in Jakarta after a quarter of a century! A wonderful, unforgettable, lip-smacking experience. Courtesy in Jakarta is well-known, but it is taken a good few steps further here... 12 more heavenly steps if you're having their remarkable Rijstaffel! And now you even get seconds. I have... More

Was taken by an Indonesian friend for dinner and it was a real experience. There was a parade of waitresses each serving a small portion of food all of which was delicious

The food taste good but certainly not worth the money, hahaha. I would not say its a rip off but probably its the price of fine dining experience. Its a unique experience especially for the tourist, considering the type of food and the ambience.

A bit difficult to find and our taxi took 45 minutes to get there and 15 t come back, but when we did get there we experienced excellent food well presented. Giant prawns wrapped in split lemon grass served in a conch shell was a particularly nice touch and tasted delicious. Ceratinly go again, although next time will book as... More

My ex-boss was having a gala party at Oasis with a Royal theme party, and I was the one who liaised with the Oasis people - They're the most incredible team I've ever met!!! Very helpful and willing to make the event beyond our expectations! I would like personally to thank to Pak James, Pak O'om, Mba Teti, Mba Sri,... More

My Indonesian wife had always dreamt of coming here, reasoning that if Thatcher,Merkel and Clinton etc ate there(as they are said to have) and as it is super expensive by local standards it must be something else.So I booked it for her birthday dinner, against my better instincts.Trust in those instincts was fortified when I saw a large coach in the car... I wanted to try Indonesian fine dining so my friends brought me to this restaurant. Ambience was lovely as we had a table in the enclave next to the garden and it was air conditioned. Food was nice but a little pricey. They used fine fine crockery but the service for a fine dining restaurant was lacking.

I've recommended this restaurant today to a friend based on my experience perhaps 10 years ago, and I've read the mixed reviews from my follow tripadvisors. In addition to what they wrote, I have my own and different story to tell. You may all find this funny the way it started, but it turned out to be one of the... More

Decided to take my parents for lunch in Oasis after we went antique-ing in nearby Jalan Surabaya, which although unplanned, was quite the theme of the day as you get the same nostalgic kinda atmosphere once you walked into the restaurant. They even sell some Indonesian antiques in the foyer. The restaurant used to be a Dutch Mansion which dated... More
