Great local food. Love the durian juice

Good selection of local food. Service is above average. Their Sate was tender and full of flavour. For me, the highlight was their fried fish smothered in chilli paste and their durian juice. Both of these and the sate is a must try

The sate was the reason to go there. The chicken Sate, ayam, was fine... the beef sate was burned on the outside and raw inside... sent it back and it came back about the same. The peanut sauce was like fluid peanut butter, no flavor at all!, strange because they serve a better spicy peanut sauce with an excellent Gado... More

Have to agree that this is the best Sate Ayam in Jakarta - try their signature one with the 'peanut fondue' which is a bit sweet but also spicier and verrrrry good. The sate Kambing is also terrific, go for the mixed one which includes a minced variety and is like a sausage which will appeal to western tastes -... More

I have been in many branches of this restaurant and recently they have opened in Epicentrum walk. What l like the most is nasi cobek and tea in claypot! I always ordered it when I visit this restaurant. The service is good and staff is nice.

This is a great place to sample many classic Indonesian dishes without fearing a tummy bug !! Its frequented by locals and is always busy, fast service , tasty well cooked food and modestly priced and above all CLEAN. I would recommend this particularly to foreign visitors who are eager to try the local cuisine but do not want to... More

Already established as an indonesian restaurant for decades, Sate khas senayan has more than just skewers (sate), they now sell rice sets, seafoods, balinese style rice set, tahu kipas, and more. Taste is quite ok but a bit pricey compare to cafe betawi or the like. The resto insists on selling their food based on standardized portion, so you cannot... More

If you want to dine in with the local cuisine you could try it out here. Some food may not be suitable. But if you are a Malaysian or a singaporean you will like it as it is similar to malay food. It was nice and tasty and the service is good too. However, do note it's a bit pricey.... More

Me and my family got very irritating stomach problems after following the notorious Asian Food Channel TV ads..All restaurants can not be trusted here, They pay Asian Food Channel for advertising and all this handled by professional dishonest presenters. Be careful guys.
