This 3rd time that I have been here and it's totally cool. Historical restaurant & bar in the old town of jakarta.. there is not much else to see here... they have had a band playing everytime that adds to the overall ambience... The food is tasty..

A place not to be missed. This is a restaurant in one of the few remaining British colonial buildings in an area with many wonders of Jakarta. From the entrance which is out of the British realm to walking upstairs were you will be mesmerized by the wall to wall large photos of our favorite stars then not forgetting the... More

The decor is interesting and historic, and there is a great view of the plaza. VERY pricey food though, and nothing exciting. If I had money to spare it would be a nice spot for a few cocktails and appetizers though.

Situated on Fathillah square and facing south towards the Jakarta History Museum (aka. Fathillah Museum), you can get a great view of the activity in the square from the 2nd floor. The first floor is dimly lighted, and the interior is fashioned like the old colonial era with a lot of pictures and photographs on the wall and old memorabilia... More

The food is excellent and so are the hot beverages. I must say their Restrooms are a unique experience I spent a long time here just soaking... More

We went to visit this cafe after we visited 2 museums which located in the same area. Hubby had mushrooms soup and fish & chips. Me and my sister had mie goreng khas cafe batavia and soto betawi. It was great, as all of us could get our favorite food. Hubby loves his European/western food and me & my sister... More

I had a late night meals with important customers from India, Japan, Philippine, Singapore, and Vietnam. They were very amused with the situation of Kota Tua and outside the cafe. An experience they never felt before. When we went inside and had a light meal, again it was also a nice experience for them. They were very keen to look... More
