Description: The idea to establish Loewy was a spontaneous one: that there is a need in Jakarta for a casual bistro – an everyday place with an interesting but accessible menu, a well-designed but informal décor, and adding to the mix: a buzzing, energetic bar serving the best, stiffest drinks in town. The inspiration came from traditional Parisian bistros by way of New York City. The style of the interior is retro/classic with a modern interpretation. The original Thonet chairs, the leather banquet seats, the subway beveled tiles, the tin and copper ceiling panels, the white brick walls; evoking this “Paris bistro meets New York loft in the 1940’s feel. It is then combined with a modern layout and concept, creating an overall ambience that is uncluttered, clean, understated, and timeless.

The service at Loewy is efficient and friendly while the food does not quite match. Nothing memorable about the food - neither great, nor bad….just average. However, the restaurant was busy so I guess they must be doing something right!

I had terrible brunch today@Loewy. It really ruined my day not to mention the embarrasment in front of our family friends. We were told that our booking only from 11-1pm. Its 9 of us. Until 1.10pm only 3 main course that managed to appear in our table. That after my husband and my friend complained! 3 or 4 times...! The... More

I love having brunch at Loewy. The price is very reasonable for the quality of their food. The ambiance is very nice and cozy. They're very busy around dinner hour. Make sure you make a reservation Their steak are cooked comme il faut. Properly done. The foie gras are delicious They also have high tea I highly recommend this place

Great atmosphere in this trendy place where you find a lot of expats. Located in Mega Kuningan, good for all day, for meeting and just take a breath. Good food and drink and discrete service.

Nice upscale and trendly place in Mega Kuningan area that is buzzing with expats and a mixture of Indo office girls and more. Excellent cocktails and friendly and high quality service. Not for the budget conscious. Wednesdays and weekends seems to be the best times. Worth is for after work drinks, but the night can get really expensive if its... More

Was neither impressed neither disappointed. Avoiding to go there on weekend evenings or Wednesday. Heard it is very busy then. Food and service was somehow ok. Don't understand why it is so popular. Know nicer places in Jakarta!

This restaurant/bar is a vety popular after dinner hangout place for expats and Indonesians alike. Tables filled up really fast after 8.30. It is not uncommon for 30 minutes+ wait time during Friday nights. Food is good but not inexpensive.

Food was just ok. Quite pricey. But it's a great place to check in during weekend night to let your friend know that you (as if) have a great life Pretending that you dont speak bahasa indonesia will help sometime to have better service, especially during busy night Lots of my lady friends feel uncomfortable during night cause lots of...
