Excellent location overlooking the Barkhor Square

A clean restaurant which offers a variety of cuisines at a reasonable price. Of course you should not expect western continental food ! i go there two times in a month with fellow Tibetan friends for a change like Nepali set.I liked about the soft Nepali music with dim atmosphere inside but suggest to take the second roof top garden for fantastic views of Jokhang and Barkhor street. The menus were variety and service is ready always. Run by family from Nepal with... More

This restaurant has a good hotel attached. Very beautiful. Food is good and cheaper than most of the road side restaurant and charged the same price. Worth a try in beautiful setting. Hotel also very nice but hot water may not be there if other guests showered first. This is a common problem in tibet.

One of several Yak meat "Hawaiian" pizzas the family tried here in the search for kid's comfort foods (by and large the search for western comfort food was futile, but like with any foreign travel, going with the local and expatriate foreign choices is probably best). OK breakfasts.

We spent two weeks touring China and Tibet and this was not only the worst restaurant during our trip, but the worst restaurant we have ever been in. It was filthy - the proximity of the stench and faeces- filled toilets to the kitchens was disgusting. The service was appalling. Avoid at all costs.

After 2 days of Chinese food. It feels good to get some changes. I was glad to see some other food. I tried yak sizzler here and I was fully satisfied. Nepalese, Indian and continental food available here. Try here you won't regret

Menu in English! Had a very tasty Yak sizzler with noodles and they provided a knife and fork. Seems a popular place and relatively cheap. I paid 60RMB with tea. Nice views over Jokhang square. The toilets alas, as in most Chinese establishments, left much to be desired!

Food is OK. Nice views but what ruined my visit was the stink from the barhrooms. Intolerable and you have to walk past them as you go up

Really nice Indian food as well as wide variety of food. Central, right by temple and markets. Nice view.

It was interesting to read the comments by the reviewer who experienced very poor service. Our group of 16 people ate here twice, and had good food and service. We did not have to wait long (it was as if they were expecting us), and everything was tasty. Good view of the square from the window tables. The toilets were... More
