Not only is Tashi 1 very central on the Beijing Road but it is good value and the food reasonable. The service is quick, fluent English is spoken and the ambience in the small dining room is good. it is perhaps better for a light lunch rather than a longer evening dinner.

Our guide showed us this restaurant for lunch one day and from the outside we weren't so sure. The rest of the group went elsewhere but two of us ate at Tashi. We're so glad we did! The staff are friendly and service is very good. We had fried rice and veg Momo for lunch and it was delicious. The... More

We ate here several times during our week in Lhasa, trying breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a gorgeous little cozy dining room, the service is friendly, and the food is wonderful. The fried apple momo's are to die for.

It's a nice little restaurant, very cozy and good food in the very center of lhasa! They have yak burgers, excellent yak curry, a lot of different soups, all for reasonable prices.

We went with friends to this lovely little restaurant. It's very small and has a dining room feel with beautiful pictures on the walls. We returned for breakfast the next morning. Great food, good value for money compared to other places close by.

Was told about this place by a local Tibetan after missing breakfast in our hotel. Was very sceptical at first but the staff made us feel very welcome. The decor and layout of the place is basic but the food is fantastic and very nice. Prompt friendly service with English speakers . During our stay o 8 days in Tibet... More

Just at the entrance of DanJieLin road,on the second floor of an ignored house. But you can find its sign on the street hanging upon a stairway. They supply a huge range of home-made dishes including tibetan and western food.Taste is average, but warming atmosphere. There are cats walking around while you're having meals.

Nice place, though basic furniture, but the food is great. Try the bobi! You get 3 "pancakes" with fresh cheese and mixed fried vegetables. Delicious!
