Awesome eggs dishes

Love flying pan so much as it is near my office & it serves awesome eggs dishes !! Although I am a fan of all day breakfast, I prefer to have their Omelette instead :D I love their Garden omelette (with pretty good enough variety of veggies); always order well done (just personal preference); love... read more

Apparently we rise early for Hong Kong, so this was one of few breakfast places open between 7-8:30am during the week. Glad we found it - HUGE selection of American-style breakfast dishes - waffles, pancakes, omelets, even 'Eggs' Rancheros, and of course some local options available as well. Not gourmet or fancy, just simple Western style breakfast foods. The menu... More

Had a 18 hour layover in HK, and tried to find a breakfast place open at 7am. Found the Flying Pan in Central (hopped a 10 minute cab from Airport Express) - super cool and funky place, kind of a cross between a bar and a Denny's restaurant. Breakfast was good, coffee was hot and plentiful, and we fueled up... More

Great place for breakfast. The menu is huge so have an idea what your craving and go from there. Or just as you sit down get the bottomless coffee and spend some time to check the menu and sip in the coffee. The food quality is decent and the staff know the menu well. The service is decent no complaints... More

The breakfast is great, you get a lot of selections. It's open 24 hours so it's absolutely a good choice for you who drink a lot at night, breakfast at 5 in the morning should be enjoyable. Choose a combo, you won't regret it.

We got breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was very enjoyable; the food was good, quick and decently priced. The accommodations are a little cramped, but it adds to the overall diner feel of the location. I am happy to go back!

This place is a delicious oasis when you just want a good breakfast. It is open 24 hours so is a great choice if you are waiting for the MTR to open back up!

This place has such a great reputation among the locals that I had to give it a go, and glad that I did: eggs in any style and combination that you could want, plus free WiFi make this a great hangover curer or place to pop in for some good old English breakfast.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
