Cheap eats and really tasty

Cheap and cheerful little restaurant with fast service and tasty food. The dishes are a decent size for sharing and the double rib pork was particularly good. Would recommend for a good, quick and on-budget meal.

Basic venue in the centre of Causeway Bay. Basic in terms of fixtures and fittings. Service OK. Menu restricted. No alcohol. Just OK.

Porkveggie bowl is a must. Tendon so slurpy. Chicken soup is perfect combination of two above. Try the mock chicken, so smooth and juicy. It is actually beancurd skin. But...wow!

Don't find haut couture food here. But! All food is tasty, fresh and fast!! Very fast. All kinds of meat, noodles and rice in different combinations. Three sorts of canned beer - Carlsberg, Heineken and San Miguel. Inner design is very simple, not a lot of space also. So traveller may expect lower prices. But it's the Hong Kong Island... More

I was expecting a feast. Did not get one. The restaurant was small. The food was good, not great. I did order the pork ribs with rice. Not bad but could be better. No recommendations here. Just get whatever's cheap.

Visited the Ashley Road TST branch. The porkchop rice was average. Filling but not to die for. The noodle soup was good. The fried wanton was also okay. Service is fast. Tissue and hot tea are provided. Locals eat here. Prices are reasonable. But for me, there's nothing spectacular.

Well it's a cheap, local Chinese , wipe the table after you are seated, ask for napkins (tissues), plastic 'glasses'. Our tofu & 3 mushrooms was very good as was the dumplings in hot & sour soup. The recommended deep fried pork chop was average. Convenient location in causeway bay.

We ordered sweet and sour fish fillet, porkchop rice topping and a chicken dish. Dishes are delicious and affordable. A must try for tourists to experience local dishes. Take note no food and drinks allowed inside the restaurant.

We went for dinner with our two children. Nice food, friendly atmosphere and inexpensive. Seemed to be really popular among locals so we had to wait in line for a little while.

Went to Delicious Kitchen earlier. It's been awhile since I last ate here. It's been in the neighborhood for a while now. I think first time I ate here I was less than 10 years old. People come back here because of their pork rib on top of vegetable rice. If you are looking for a casual place to dine... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
