Whenever I'm in Hong Kong I try to find a night to visit Lee Fa Yuen. Although the English of the wait staff is fair at best, they are very friendly and do an excellent job of helping you to select from the menu. The food is amazing and plentiful and the best I have had outside of Korea.

We fancied Korean and visited the branch at East TST. Service was fast and efficient. We ordered Korean Spring opinion pancake, grilled black cod, stone pot seafood rice, and a seafood, beef soup. A selection of Korean pickles arrived quickly while we waited for our dishes. All were tasty, but the cod was a little tough and chewy. We promptly... More

We went to this restaurant at Empire Building (East Tsimshatsui) for our Christmas eve dinner. It was a BIG mistake! It was expensive, food were disgusting and service was bad! We ordered a seafood pancake and it was hardly cooked and the base were still very 'doughy'. The pancake was soggy and had a bland taste! The stone pot rice... More

The best kitchen of making traditional Korean dishes in HK. If your seeking superb taste and variety of authentic dishes - Your appetite will certainly be satisfied - Suggest making reservation as usually always busy.

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighborhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
