What a letdown.

Too quick service like dim sum restaurant with me-too atmosfhere. Quality of food average, but franckly quite disappointing as level of disches pretty low and without flavour, care or taste. Bill far too expensive. Think about and make another choice.

We are here two nights running...the service was professional and efficient...although a little rushed near closing time... The food was tasty... Varied... Generous ...and interesting...all with no meat or fish but quite delicious and inventive....good colours and flavours...second night we asked for the spices to be stepped up and they were...great kick to the pepper sauce. Tea came in copious... More

We didn't enjoy our dinner at all... - the waiter tried really hard to push drinks and dishes to us when taking our order - he said chinese tea was 12HKD so we assumed the price was for the tea pot (it generally is). It turned out it was 12HKD per person, what a rip off! - we had to... More

I've never heard of a cover charge for a restaurant before, not sure if that's common in HongKong. The dude taking my order probably realized I'm a tourist and charged me $12 for regular water which was hot (not bottled, I didn't ask for hot water either) and another $12 for peanuts that I didn't order but we're just served.... Before we even sat down, they were offering expensive fruit or ginger tea, when all we really wanted was Chinese tea. We had to be insistent to get them to finally serve Chinese tea. That was weird to begin with, because the other tables were drinking Chinese tea. They pressed us to order the set meal, which did not seem... More

As mentioned already the waiters push you to have more food than you want, soup, appetizers, etc. On the other side, they are very attentive and food is delivered quickly. You also have a view of Hong Kong Island if you get a table by the windows. I like vegetarian food but found the entree pretty average. The appetizers were... More

From all restaurants we visited within one week of staying in Hongkong, this one was outstanding for its view over the harbour, its relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. Both for lunch and dinner (we came back twice within that week!) we had no problems of getting a free table because it's a very big restaurant, on the 7th floor of... More

I wish there was a rating category between "poor" and "average" because this place would fall right into it. I found myself kind of lured by this place, having taken refuge in the lobby of the building during a rainstorm and I was starving. Hard to describe, it's on the 7th floor of a building (other restaurants on other floors).... More

Discovered by chance, we visited this restaurant on 7th Floor of 1, Peking Road Centre, Kowloon twice on our short three night stay in HK. The extensive menu choices and very friendly staff made for enjoyable nights on both occasions. Largely used by locals, it appears to be a popular local spot. we certainly will revisit if we get back... More
