Great view but not worth the cost

Had been here previously and ordered from the set dinner menu, which was expensive but we enjoyed our meal. This time we ordered from the al a carte menu. We paid over $200AUD for some very average dishes, notably a mealy textured fried rice which was left mostly uneaten, and some very oily... read more

We went to this restaurant mainly to be able to enjoy the amazing view from the Peak while sipping on a nice glass of wine and enjoying something tasty- in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It was well worth the expense. We had Peking Duck and a few other delicious dishes. We ate early - just at sunset so the... More

Nice view but food average and expensive! Peking duck was the best out of a tasteless dining experience. Don't bother going. Save your money for a non touristy place.

A visit in Hong Kong wiill not be totally complete without trying out its gastronomic treats and nothing more could be better than to try authentic Cantonese and Chinese dishes served by the one and only Tien Yi. Located in one of Hong Kong's main attraction - The Peak, the restaurant showcases its modern contemporary ambience (with bar at the... More

So me and my brother came up to The Peak to enjoy the view which was lovely. We got a bit hungry and decided to go with some where at The Peak to enjoy the night view. Decided to come here to try out the chinese food. We didn't order much 3 dishes and rice. To be honest the food... More

Poorly seasoned food and the pancakes accompanying the Peking duck were soggy and stuck together. We had to wait 10 minutes for fresh pancakes but by now the duck was cold and the skin no longer crispy. Management did little to redeem themselves. The restaurant was empty which should have been a warning to us. Waste of money and time.... More

Wanted to combine two in one - enjoy the impressive panoramic view of HK while sampling assorted dishes of Chinese quisine. Although it was a bit cloudy the view was absolutely fantastic; as for the meal it was just adequate, both assorted dim sum and spring rolls; prices were rather high, which was quite understandable - in addition to restaurant... Because it is at the top of the peak expect high prices...my friend and I were shocked when the lunch turned out to be 100 dollars US. I guess the food was descent at best...the issue is that we had dim sum earlier in the day and it was a third of the price for the both of us and... More
