Dining with a view

We managed to book a table with amazing view from the peak. Order set menu for two that consist of soup, dumplings, sauteed scallop, fried fish, vegetables, fried rice and dessert. We add on some dim sum and egg tart with bird nest (one of my favourite) Food taste not bad but again there's no... read more

I booked this restaurant for my husbands 40 th birthday. Eleven of us had flown in from all over the world. I booked a banquet. We were in a side area but there was another family in what should have been reserved for us. The restaurant was not busy. Food was served too quickly and with no introduction of what... More

We were here for lunch before we head back to the airport. It is a good option if you want decent good value dim sum. Cantonese food and southern Chinese food have a delicate flavour. Most HK people prefer the more delicate flavours also. Don't expect strong flavour dishes like Sichuan and Northern China cuisine. Which means don't pick dishes... More

ate here with a friend. all the dishes were tasteless. the mapo toufu missed both hua jiao and la jiao; in fact there was no discernible salt or other flavoring. it was just bland toufu in a completely flavorless brown gravy. the pork dish was some attempt at sweet and sour. the pork was encased by a thick layer of... We dropped by for dim sum mid afternoon and were impressed by the quality and wonderful views. The restaurant was very quiet at that time with only a couple of staff on duty. Service was a bit slow considering there were so few diners. Nice ambiance - probably very popular in the evenings.

We ate here as part of a tour group of 11 people on a 2 day stop-over in Hong Kong. The restaurant itself was a nice respite from the crowds visiting Victoria Peak - nice ambience and great views (despite the poor visibility on the day). As it was a Sunday we started with dim sum, which was all very... More

Located in ground floor of Pacific Place at the JW Marriott end of the mall. Good dim sum. Surprised that u like all the other restaurants and shops in the mall, servers at this place don't speak much English.

Tien Yi is a really expensive restaurant with amazing views of Hong Kong. Go at night time. It looks incredible with all the buildings and lights. The service was really slow, even though it was on a weekend, and it wasn't busy at all. The food was good, particularly the signature fried rice dish was amazing. In terms of price, it... More

Visited Tien Yi in the evening and wanted to pamper the family with a nice meal while enjoying the night view of HK. We ordered a dinner set for 3 persons at a cost of USD400 (no alcohol included, just Chinese tea). Cold dish was average. Soup was unusually starchy and unflavorful for a fine dining restaurant. Steam fish was... More

I ordered a couple appetizers and deserts. This place is very good for the view but the food is good but with an above average price. I had the shredded chicken with flour noodles and peanut sauce, and the Sichuan Chicken (spicy style). They were both tasty. The shredded chicken is probably best as the spicy version (if you like...
